Hello My Beautiful People! Welcome back to a lovely night in the garden! Tonight I am playing with some colors inspired by my friend Karen Durishin from Waterfall Acrylics. I am using Goldens Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold and Permanent Violet Dark together, a very dramatic combination! Im also trying out a new split cup from the Paint Pour Store.com! Lets get started!
Im using a 20x20 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artist Loft.
Im using Mix Pour as my Pouring Medium, as well as a Mix Stix

Permanent Violet Dark is a luscious deep Violet that is one of my favorite colors. and Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold has some really magical properties, in the way that it reacts with other colors. It can be bold or soft, and shifts when next to white or gold. It is a striking dramatic combination with the Permanent Violet Dark.. Im very excited about this pour!
Putting the white in the center chamber is to control it.. The two chambers on the outside are bigger, so use those for which ever color you want the most of in your pour.

I love these colors together! Im very happy about using the Quinacridone Violet with the Nickel Azo Gold and Violet Dark, it turned out very pretty. I like that color a lot.
This painting dried beautifully and shiny, as it had Mix Pour as the pouring medium.

Mina very pretty color combination. Dried so perfectly. The line's between the rings are crisp with such depth. The cells trickling in and out the layers are lovely. The red color creating the bikini corners is so rich and bright it creates depth.
And when I thought the video was over Baxter begins his rendention of the two tenors, an operatic howl with Mr. HOA and I lost it. Then he sneezed and well that did it. I had laughter tears running down my face. HOA you and Baxter indeed harmonize and create quite the duo. Can't wait for your next creation Mina. Love you guys

Oh darn (grin) another favorite. Mojave Desert with it's amazing colors and flowering cacti. I love all the things you talk about in your video. The lines and rings and other worldly cells in wonderful, warm tones and colors. In the lingering snows and ice of Saskatchewan winter, this warms my heart. Thank you both for bringing these experiences to all of us. Hugs always.
The reason they look good together is that they are triadic colors on the color wheel. Gorgeous as always. The center does look like a rose but overall I get a cavernous vortex feel.

OMGOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I was watching the replay. My 7 month KITTEN, Sassy, jumped up from her nap. When HOA and Baxter baby were howling. 10 minutes later she is STILL looking for the dogs that are howling.😂🥰

Something I saw in another video I think Olga. She put black with metallic turquoise. She got purple. Amazing.
I almost died when that big blob of paint came out as you were trying to close off in the centre of the ring pour, but you were so cool calm and collected and just added more of the violet and voila, all good. Love this one Mina.

Hi Rita! Thank you! No I don't varnish often.. I use mediums that dry shiny, like Mix Pour or Liquitex Gloss Medium

Today I found some less expensive paint that does the same thing as the satin enamels!! Tested out perfectly. I so wish I could show you the two matching 10x10's I did testing it out. they're gorgeous. its a folk art multisurface satin. also comes in a huge container. I found it at hobby lobby. I found a similar deco art satin multisurface that comes in a bigger container but I haven't tested that one yet. to be continued....
