I bought some Icepoints as I couldn't get any Skylon Paragon's. They are decent but a tad larger outer diameter and higher grains per inch than the comparable Skylon arrows. The points are sized to have the front collar on them otherwise the point doesn't sit flush on the shaft where they meet, unlike the Skylons. Lastly the included Pandarus nocks were really difficult to remove from the pins, they were so tight on there I damaged two pins trying to get the nocks off. That said quite a bit cheaper than the Skylon's. I'm only using the Pandarus for close range practice as the heavier weight pushed my sight settings a bit too low for 70M and I don't like bringing the sight bar in to get arrow clearance unless it's 90M's which I rarely shoot.

Pandarus is being sold by Merlin in the UK and disport in Italy. I prefer them over Skylon but I'm still keeping my skylons for training. Their shafts are different enough to make a difference long range. Love their stuff, only thing missing is a heavy indoor one like the X 23. The cheap ice points I got are pretty great considering they've seen some serious abuse.

Pandarus has the Versus 23. AFAIK came out fairly recently Q4 of last year; or at least that's when I first heard of them. Decent shaft, very straight, consistent weight.

@@vangeodatan355 too light of an arrow. I need something in the same weight class as the 2318 shafts. My indoor arrows for barebow weigh 720gr. Versus is like Skylon Brux basically, wich I don't really use anymore for barebow at all unless I have to shoot a 25m competition.

@@shredfreak83 Ahh gotcha. 700gn, whew quite a difficult build that one if all you have for options are carbon shafts.

I have all the high end arrows and mid range from most of the brands. I had to step back because of how expensive they have all gotten including travel to shoot. I need to look into these!

Everyone should buy these. The major players will be forced to lower their prices or lose out.

I've seen them on merlin archery's store and I'm very exited for them to come to Europe. It's a shame that most archery shops here only go through JVD or SSA.

I remember my local shop said big names in archery don't put new people in stores. Movies and TV do. I remember when first avengers came out then hunger games tons of new people showed up at the shop

Hi Steve, great info and something new to consider far more closely. A few questions: where can I find recommendations for Pandarus arrow spine selection, info about the component specs for the made arrows on your shops site (specifically point type, size and weights for their hunting arrows), and do you offer a service to cut the made arrow shafts to length? Keep up the good work!

So why don't we have any US distributor for Pandarus? I'm suspecting possible import/ export issues?

I have a random question. How have your experiences been with bear recurves? I have had a run of bad luck with the super Kodiak, takedown and the company is not standing behind them. Thanks!

Hi Steven how about putting pandarus 320 carbon alloy arrows against easton x10 shoot off to see if its not just the price pandarus has over easton x10s.Keep the reviews coming .

in my experience -victory might be the only arrow worth the money as a whole per all arrows made by each company! ive shot all major brands for multi years except gold tip which i just bought because i got tired of my victory dealer -they are all the same here in the usa at least the big ones!
wanted to just be able to say i shot gold tip also but i know victory cant be beat except maybe in price lets go pandarus!!!
i cant wait for more of that pandarus stuff to hit usa -all archery usa brands are so spoiled by the fanboys -anyway stuff is at least half made else where overseas if not completelly .
me personally i like high end usa built archery stuff but lately the hype has reached levels never imaginable and prices also.
need some new players to shake up the industry and get people exited again and not scared how much they have to spend just to feel like they belong!
i could care less about me,just want archery to feel affordable and special to new people

Icepoints are heavier than skylon paragons. Pandarus dont do themselves any favours either as their spine charts and online specs for icepoints all show different values for grains per inch.
