Next time use T-fittings in the vertical pipes for your hose connectors rather than elbows. You can continue the vertical pipe down another 2-3' and terminate in a purge valve. That way if any residual water will pass your hose connector and collect at the bottom of the pipe extension where you can purge it occasionally.
I have most of the airline connectors I need already but what fittings did you get for the airline connector to 1/2" copper pipe.. I think my fittings are called 3/8 BSP but don't know how to connect to the copper pipe. Ideas? Thanks
Yeah. The CNC mill has another regulator because it wants 75 psi but the rest of the system is regulated to 90 psi which is what all my air tools require. Plus I don't use air tools much. Mostly just blow-gunning or filling tires. 90 psi is perfect.
Doing this stuff for your own shop is always soooo satisfying.
I got a few favorite quotes or phrases… “don’t worry bout that” is definitely top three!!
Excellent work, never have thought to using tin foil to protect walls when soldering
Thanks! The foil did the trick, but not the masking tape 😁
Like the copper vs PVC. Very nice

I think mine are 1/2” NPT and I have 1/2” to 1/4” NPT reducers threaded in, and the air fittings thread into those.
@@RussellMakes thanks for taking the time to reply
Regulated at the compressor not at the device after those long runs?

Loctite makes a thread sealant. I love it. Did you consider using that instead of tape and dope? Any Karens within earshot of your house? I hope not!!
Didn't know they made a thread sealant. My neighbors are awesome, and it's not too noisy if the doors and windows are shut.
