Schecter can't seem to do anything wrong right now. Great looking, well built, great specs for the money. I guess they aren't constrained by tradition like certain other brands which helps.
Your phenomenal playing shows just how much of a versatile guitar that is. I just ordered one today and i cant wait to get it and start playing. Absolutely awesome video and playing. Subbed.

AWESOME PLAYING ! THINKING OF BUYING THIS GUITAR AS I NEED CLEAN TONES PLUS A WHAMMY BAR THAT'S TONALLY DIFFERENT TO MY STRATS. THANK YOU FOR DEMONSTRATING THIS ASPECT OF THE GUITAR. BEST REGARDS - EDDIE.
A Floyd on a Telecaster for a change, the EMG retro active pickups are great, i have a Cort KX16 Limited edition with them. This Schecter should be versatile enough for all music, not just metal. I must win the lottery soon!
Love this video and guitar, your playing, tone, style is pure my soul , it releases all my stress , I’m very very impressed as usual, I hear many of my heroes styles , like Neil Sloan from journey, I would love to hear your creative ideas in their music thank you I think this guitar sounds amazing clean or your abilities are amazing , wish you would have detailed the pickups , do they play without the battery? What battery life does it have? Can you make them passive too with a mod or split coil them with a mod ,thank you for the review, I have no experience with Meg pickups.
Currently saving for kne of these! It looks so cool. Thanks for the upload I cant find anybody playing the tele version idk why it looks much cooler imo
Thanks for the encouragement. Right now I’m working on “Down and out”. It is an old song from I think the 1930s. Eric Clapton made it famous I guess. It should be quite easy but I’m very rusty , and was never any good anyway. Since I haven’t played much in a long time I’ve lost the callouses on the ends of my fingers. Listening to your beautiful playing makes me want to work harder. Thanks much.
I finally got mine btw and I love it! The pickups are INSANELY hot IMO but I'm not an expert on these things. It makes the wammy bar stuff really come through clearly.
Thanks for the review. Really nice guitar. Any chance you could do a side by side with a Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal St.2 HH 2PT NT? What are your opinions?
Dude I'm looking at the same 2 guitars, as well as a player tele. Can't decide.. I have the Dark Amber Charvel Pro Mod DK24 but I'm starting to wish I got the So Cal style 2 or whatever it's called. The caramelized maple neck and glowing side inlays are just a nice touch and i prefer the single coil clean tones. 4:48 has me really loving this Schecter
This model has another color - white, and a rosewood fingerboard - I am looking forward to this white model. I have a Question, This guitar pickup is enabled split? or push-pull? I think This guitar has only 3 sounds - 3 way - isn't right?
I have 5 Schecter electric guitars and one acoustic. I also have a few Harley Benton guitars. How is this in comparison to the Harley Benton Fusion-T HH Roasted FNT? I love mine but also love a great Schecter! Thank you, brother!
@@JonIsJustTooLoud just got my sea foam PT FR , took a spring out and set it up. going to deep dive my axe fx III marshal amps... Nice review you sold ir to me. thanks
@@daimyotech5388 i haven’t done it personally, as I have a hard tail. In my search to find the right guitar with a trem I’ve also looked into mods and stuff. From what I’ve found from others is that the special and 1000 Floyd roses aren’t that great. Most mods people do to them to get rid of a tinny sound is replace the block with a bigger block or a brass block. Also they change out some of the other hardware to make it more reliable. I would suggest doing some research on here about mods for whatever trem model you have.
Ill give it a shot. I have many guitars with 1000s and specials but this one sounds the thinnest, I'm not sure why. Maybe the wood. Also super bright sounding I hate this combination lol. @@bbbrenden
I read an interview and it was said that "the pickups aren't paired well. The middle position added a barely audible neck pickup to the bridge and sometimes not audible at all. The EMG pickup sounded terrible. The Sustainiac pickup worked perfectly." Is this guy right? Have you experienced any problems with the pickups in all three positions? I need to know because I have this guitar at the top of my list. He also said that the neck is a little too beefy for a shredder guitar. He compares it to a Schector Hellraiser Hybrid guitar which he seems to favor a lot compared to this guitar. This review was posted to this guitar at Zzounds. Does he have valid claims? Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Whatever I felt about this guitar has been represented in the video. Each preferences are very different from one another. Don’t take my word or that guy’s for all that matter . Go try one yourself.✌️❤️
I agree 100% with you. When I read his review, it kinda let the air out of my sail. Maybe Guitar Center near me may have one in the showroom for me to try out. I usually buy my guitars online, but I do as much research as I can before I buy it. Thanks.@@JonIsJustTooLoud
Absolutely. Those who are open minded are more intelligent. Regardless of that guy's review, I still want to get that guitar. It's got all the bells and whistles, at an affordable price tag. Thanks again for the video.@@JonIsJustTooLoud
There are plenty of guitars with the single coil.. I’ve reviewed a couple of them from LTD , John page And even the G&Ls... the guitar was built for a purpose.. 😊❤️

Hi,what you think would you like go for this one or Harley Benton fusion III with the FRT 1000 Floyd one?
Different guitars

I'm not understanding how this model is priced higher than the regular strat style super shredder, even the "reign" colors?
✌🏻
I wish it had a matching headstock, maybe i'll paint it

I use the Line 6 Helix Native. I use a bi-amped Marshall amp and cab sim ✌♥

Did you notice this guitar was overly bright and kind of thin sounding? I tried new pickups but have trouble bonding with this guitar tonally.
It sounded ok to me ✌️❤️
Most people add a better sustain block to the Floyd rose special to give them better sustain and tone.
Does it make that much of difference to tone? Need to check it out@@bbbrenden
