This truly is a game in history
I know this game has a lot of issues. But it’s kind of refreshing to have a shorter cinematic experience rather than a 80 plus hours grindy shit game. It’s like dead space the movie.
I actually prefer shorter games if it's going to be a narrative heavy game. Hate those 80-hour movies. If your game is 80 hours, then it better have some stellar gameolay with lots of variety.
Single player narrative games should be around 12-16 hours for a campaign.

@@alejandrophoenix2287 So this is kind of a stretch, but an excuse could maybe be that the core installation procedure had him down and out for a while.
I find it more impressive that she held on with one arm against the force of all air rushing out into space, and aimed and shot, and then during the crash, she had no injuries or anything.

Like when they write on the wall “shoot the tentacles” and a second after double down by pushing you an audio file with the same stuff. Compared to the same thing of shooting legs of enemies in DEad Space is bad taste…
The potential was immense, but they effed up with the combat and enemy AI(it's not the AI is shit the experience could have been much better if the AI was good)...
The game's combat systems dont seem robust enough to take advantage of improved AI behaviors. I wonder if the abysmal enemy variety is due to it being difficult to design enemies that can work within this janky ass system.
@@michaeldavis8250 Combat system is like a scrapped batman arkham city combat system that never made it.Can you imagine that capcom using this for the resident evil series on the third person camera view or a silent hill game using this dodging to beat the game or deadspace 1 using it ? It's boring and you have to use it 8 hours long in the whole game besides just crawling in 10000 vents :P

@@michanus1092 Resident Evil 3 Remake had something like the dodge mechanic used in this game through the use of Jill's tactical dodge, only difference between this game and that one mechanic wise, is that her roll's usage could be extended through the purchase of a S.T.A.R.S combat manual. So yes, I could totally see a Resident Evil game taking advantage of a dodge system like the one from TCP. Maybe more refined with better combat, but definitely using one.

I guarantee He saw other reviews, and plays the game as follows: makes awful upgrade selections, never even bothers to learn the combat and dodge system, zero strategy-just runs into every open area full of enemies then complains when he gets swarmed. And btw, looking down instead of paying attention then getting attacked, is not a "jumpscare". Bad take, the game is awesome. Patch on the 15th fixed basically everything. Easy 9/10
