The X4 is one of the few coupe SUVs that I consider somewhat attractive as the proportions look pretty solid unlike its big sibling the X6 where the proportions look off, especially in the rear. If there was one thing that bugs me about the facelifted X3 M and X4 M is the side air vents at the front. They look as if BMW just thought of making a rectangular shape and stuck it on the front facia. Furthermore, I'm not a huge fan of the black panels in the rear for the same reasons as the front air vents. They don't show any sort of movement in the design and are just static design pieces. These details alone are why I prefer the pre-facelifted X3 M and X4 M. But aside from those details, I like everything else.
I just got my 2023 X4M Comp, but got black, so you don't notice those air intakes. But I totally agree with you about them. I just can't believe I had to pay extra for black paint lol.

I have a 2023 BMW X4M in Brooklyn Gray Metallic. I do love it! The seats are ventilated as well, which is a $500 option that wasn’t on the one you were testing. Coming from a 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback, this SUV is faster, but doesn’t hold the road like the Audi did, hence a Sportback vs a Sport Utility Coupe. Also the Bang and Olufsen stereo system in the Audi destroys the generic sounding Harman Kardon system in the BMW. I wanted something higher off the ground than the RS5, yet came as close to the performance of it. This is probably the best choice all around.
I either love the color, or hate it, I'm not sure which. A sportier alternative to the X3M and a solid $20K less than the mighty X5M. This one hits the sweet spot. Great review Joe!

I just bought one this last week for my wife off the showroom floor. I'll just say this car is absofuckinglutely ridiculous. We love it so much and have no complaints.
@@gerrieshapiro2147 the visibility out of the rear windshield is fairly poor, but enough for me to drive it safely. The comfort can be a bit on the harsh side- a compromise you make for the performance handling. If you want comfort, you could try the M40i version that was a bit smoother when I test drove it. I personally like the feel of the M Competition, but it definitely isn't for everyone.
I still remember, that the new BMW X4-M for a competition for the Future of a lot of more vehicles for dealership's of 2022. But it's been a while for along time ago for a lot of more vehicles.

FYI you can get ventilated seats. Bummer about the carbon fiber. Which handles more like a sedan, this or the AMG GLC 63s? Just ordered one of these bad boys, was back and forth between it and the AMG. Extra torque in ‘22 and features like panoramic sun roof/ventilated seats made the difference. Thanks for the review!

I keep reading that it rides rough for a daily driver, we have a 2019 x4 30i and love it, but are considering upgrading, what's your opinion on the ride, is it tolerable and worth it? Would be a daily driver for us.

I love my 2020 X4M Comp. I actually like the gauge cluster on mine than the 22. Regardless it put's a smile on my face every time I drive it.
That is the exact way to describe it. Bought my wife a 2022 new off the showroom floor last week and it just makes us grin every time we get inside.

Looks like you have your settings on grandma suspension. GO back to your video, you didn't set suspension to 3. Mine doesn't have any body roll.
