I appreciate you taking care of your kids hair because some non-black mothers do not take care of their kids hair/dont know how and choose to not learn either.
Your daughters curls look beautiful ,but the Pantene curl perfection has sulfates and silicones which they're bad for their hair. Although kinky curly is bomb.
Thank you! Yea i love the kinky curly leave in for her hair. And i do love the Pantene products, I’ve been wanting to test out other shampoos for her hair but I haven’t found any I like yet that works well with her hair. Any suggestions are welcome 😊
Brittany Lien i know this shampoo or conditioner is mane and tails i use it and it makes your hair lovely and soft u can get it on amazon if you cannot find it in stores. It's really good with curly hair
how adorable is your daughter, My girl has the same beautiful hair She is already eight years old and her hair is in the middle of her back. beautiful thanks for the video❤️I love your videos❤️
Thank you!!! Awww I can only imagine how my daughter's hair is going to look when she's eight. That's too old for me, I don't want to think about it yet! Haha
Lol well thank you, I mean, I know black parents that don’t know how to care for their kids hair. It really just depends on the person. And yea, I’ve experimented with both and have yet to find one I really like for my daughter’s hair.
My daughter is mixed & has similiar hair. Shea moisture & cantu does not work for her hair. I use maui moisture. Try that! I just discovered it recently & its amazing!
Haha yea I’m letting him grow into it a little longer and then going to do something with it lol. He has looser curls than Mia does but most of the time it’s lookin pretty crazy lol.
Addie El you can just love it, and not hair discriminate against him, and NEVER tell your child their hair is hard to deal with....or compare them to ANYONE..THE HELL MAN
Gorgeous curls! It's best to use silicone and sulfate free products for curly hair. I recommend the brand: cantu Shea butter for natural hair shampoo and treatment masque (you sound American and cantu is affordable over there and works really well). Also, do protein treatments every 4-6 weeks, I recommend Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil treatment masque as a protein treatment.
That is so beautiful how your daughter's hair has those big gorgeous shirley temple curls when her hair has dried after you put the product in and before you seperate them. The end result was beautiful too!
Your daughter's curls look just like my 3 year old daughter's curls (I also have a 5 year old but hers is almost stick straight). And for the most part, our routine is the same. I only wash her hair with shampoo once/week, otherwise we condition with Paul Mitchell's The Detangler conditioner three times/week, which we love, and I let it sit for about 5 minutes, then rinse. Once she's out of the bath we use Honest conditioning detangler sweet orange vanilla, to comb through and style, which works well but the curls can still get pretty soft and frizzy by the end of the day depending on her activity level. As you can see we don't use much product but I wouldn't mind something that would keep the curls defined through out the day, without making it feel like I put honey in her hair. I'm sensitive to smells and argan oil is one so that's out other wise I would try what you do. I tried Caroline's daughter black vanilla leave in spray conditioner today but it made my daughters hair feel greasy thick, and crunchy, like it hadn't been washed in weeks (it smelled nice though if you like vanilla and I liked it in my hair but mine is much more coarse and thicker than my daughter's). Any other moisturizing leave in conditioner suggestions that would not leave her hair feeling heavy and greasy?
The best thing I’ve found is the kinky curly leave in that I still use to this day, everyday. And I also like the Jessie’s pillow soft curls gel after using the leave in. I hate greasy hair products too and for her hair greasy or heavy products aren’t what work. But those are the main things I use everyday for her.
Good afternoon, I loved how you take care of the children ♥️♥️I'm Brazilian, I understand English a little. Cheers to you and your beautiful family 🙏♥️♥️♥️🌻🌻🌻♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for the video. I’m due in November with a beautiful biracial girl and I want to make sure her hair looks great and healthy at all times. I’m starting my education early for sure.
I see so many mother's breaking their necks to talk about their daughters have "curly" hair...they need to watch this video. This is the true definition of curly hair.
Amazing curls to make it better use sulfate, paraben, and silicone free shampoo and conditioner. Also deep condition her hair once a week. Love her curls they are amazing. Use The Shea Moisture line. I use that and my curls come out amazing
Thanks for this video! My daughters hair has changed just in the last few months and I’ve been struggling to find a routine and products that work for her. Tried it today and it works out great! I love the kinky product!
I’m new to your channel and I picked up the kinky curl knot today leave in for my 4 yr old and I loved it . He has 3a/3b curls I also use the Camille rose curl maker gel after .
Hi! How do you put her hair when she sleeps? My daughter has similar hair and it’s so matted in the back when she wakes up. I always have to soak it and comb in products for it to look great again. I’m trying low maintenance for the morning. Thanks in advance!
I’m 12 years old and I want my hair like this lol, this is quite possibly my regular texture for my hair but it’s always brushed out. I asked my mom to do it but it takes soooo long to dry and I have a whole bunch of hair and plus, I’m black so my hair is SUPER thick too. I’m gonna send this to my mom, thanks!
You did an awesome job and your daughter is so adorable! She's very patient! My daughter is only one and doesn't have a ton of hair yet, but it's definitely more of a looser curl pattern than mine, so I love seeing what products work for other Moms. Thanks for the video!
Aww thank you! I’ve switched up the products since this video so I’m definitely going to do an updated routine for her. But i still live by the kinky curly knot today! It’s a must.
Am I the only one that cringed when she used the Pantene products 😭 The extra moisture you feel in the conditioner is the silicones which do not provide moisture, they cause product buildup.
v Framlii yes she could, but that would only dry her hair even more. It’s better just to ditch the silicones since you won’t need a harsher shampoo to get rid of it.
B. KCee no need to be aggressive. And no, my hair is not too fragile 😂 it’s just common knowledge. Curly hair, including the little girl’s, needs that moisture. When you strip your hair from it, it’ll get frizzier and prone to breakage. But go off, if you wanna be an advocate for dry hair, be my guest
B. KCee let me clear something up. My hair has zero damage, never dyed or straightened it. What I’m trying to tell you is that looks can be deceiving. Silicones make your hair look “healthy”, yet it can be damaged. You really shouldn’t trust something because ‘it looks nice’. You might not see it now, but later on, when her curl pattern develops even more, you’ll see the aftermath.
Are you’re kids mixed! I’m new to channel. My brother has mixed kids and I wish their mother would care for my niece’s hair like this. She’s 8 and her hair should be much longer it is. She’s a blonde too but has heat damage from her mom flat ironing it bc she says can’t do anything with it. 🙄
Oh noooo. That’s too bad. Yes my kids are mixed and try to tell my daughter as much as I can how beautiful and gorgeous her hair is. She always tells me how she wants straight hair like mine but i always tell her how i want her curls! Haha. She’s loving her hair more and wants to do it all the time. Please show your sister in law my video to see that it’s so easy to take care of. Way easier than flat ironing it all the time and damaging it.
she has beautiful hair! also the color is superb! thank you I will get that for my son's hair. his hair is curly too and so hard to get the correct products
Yes! I’ve been using the Pantene Gold series co wash on the days I don’t use shampoo. I’ve changed the shampoo and conditioner I use on her hair since this video so look out for an updated hair routine! ❤️
*u guys don't have to be mixed to have girls like her u just take care of ur hair keep it moisturized and combed put and don't use ponytails it's breaking ur edeges off if u do it everyday so I suggest braids and pick it ,it helps :)well for me*
What do you use for your son? I seem to struggle with keeping my son's hair hydrated and defined. I cant seem to find a product for his thin mixed hair.
I don’t wash his hair everyday. I usually just put conditioner in it when he takes a bath unless it’s actually dirty. And when he gets out, i put like a pea sized amount of that kinky curly knot today all through his hair. That’s pretty much all I do for him right now.
She has a beautiful curl pattern 😍😍
Thank you!
I appreciate you taking care of your kids hair because some non-black mothers do not take care of their kids hair/dont know how and choose to not learn either.
I love doing it, she’s starting to love to do her hair now too.
i thought she was black too?? Am i wrong?? NOT that it matters or anything... I just thought she was
no im pretty sure shes not, her features don't say black to me. im sure you can ask her.
I’m not. I’m Vietnamese and white.
Duly noted.... doesn't make a difference to me...still stick by my comments about it being a great video :)
So pretty wish my hair was still lke that encourage her to love her curls train her early so pretty
I like how you used the toy pot 😂😂😂😂
Psycho Lover that’s such a smart idea lol. I’m gonna start doing that too
We use a toy boat (thanks green toys) for the boys vlbut we've also used elmos pots and a whale lol
Whatever makes them chill and buys me time heh
Your daughters curls look beautiful ,but the Pantene curl perfection has sulfates and silicones which they're bad for their hair. Although kinky curly is bomb.

The Cantu Kids line shampoo and conditioner works great on my nieces hair and she has very similar hair to your daughters
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll try that one out too
Day Santorini omg the Cantu line is AMAZING 😍🤩
Brittany Lien i know this shampoo or conditioner is mane and tails i use it and it makes your hair lovely and soft u can get it on amazon if you cannot find it in stores. It's really good with curly hair
Adorableeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I have baby fever nowwwww :| Great job on keeping it healthy.
Thank you! ❤️
I love how you care and love on her curls. She is absolutely stunning
how adorable is your daughter, My girl has the same beautiful hair She is already eight years old and her hair is in the middle of her back. beautiful thanks for the video❤️I love your videos❤️
Thank you!!! Awww I can only imagine how my daughter's hair is going to look when she's eight. That's too old for me, I don't want to think about it yet! Haha
@@BrittanyLien and now look 4 years later ❤
Girl your son was drinking the soapy water and spitting it out😭 my always tried to do the same, boys are crazy lol
WOW i applaud you for being knowledgeable of how to take care of your kids hair !!! i love this
I'm just glad you know how to take care of their hair like other non-black mothers and father's. Have you tried the kids cantu and Shea Moisture line?
Lol well thank you, I mean, I know black parents that don’t know how to care for their kids hair. It really just depends on the person. And yea, I’ve experimented with both and have yet to find one I really like for my daughter’s hair.
just follwed the tutorial but using the shea moisture products lets see how it turns out
My daughter is mixed & has similiar hair. Shea moisture & cantu does not work for her hair. I use maui moisture. Try that! I just discovered it recently & its amazing!
Moment of Truth ; Shea moisture products also doesn’t work on my little girl 👧 maybe i should try Maui thanks for recommending;
She is so adorable, and has beautiful hair.
Thank you
Brittany Lien your welcome!
her hair is so pretty
Thank you!
OMG HER VOICE😍☀️😭 she’s so cute 🍭 and your son is too❤️ thanks for the curly products I can use
Thank you 😊
Love this. It’s important for little girls to learn to love their curls at an early age.
Oh MIA PIA AND THE PERFECT CURLS
Literally lol.
Omg my son has your sons exact hair 😂 it's so cute I just dk what Ima do with it. Because it's not like your daughters, it's lose light curls.
Haha yea I’m letting him grow into it a little longer and then going to do something with it lol. He has looser curls than Mia does but most of the time it’s lookin pretty crazy lol.
Addie El you can just love it, and not hair discriminate against him, and NEVER tell your child their hair is hard to deal with....or compare them to ANYONE..THE HELL MAN
She wasn’t saying anything negative about his hair at all.
Jennifer Thorpe ????
Addie El loose*
Use deva curl it’s gentle curly hair! Shampoo is called no-poo so it looks like conditioner but it is shampoo

Brittany Lien No problem :)
Her hair is so beautiful!! Love how her hair turned out with just one product!! You should do a video on how you refresh her hair 🤗❤️
I love that you use what works for your kids hair.
“ finished project “ 😭😭❤️
Little boy drinking the bath water...😃. So cute! I wish my hair was like hers. Love those curls! ❤️
Omg she looks like a baby Storm Reid!! So beautiful!!!! Such pretty curls!!

I'm going to try this tonight, your daughters hair is exactly like my daughter's hair.

Rebeca Ortiz silicones aren’t bad and are water soluble which means they rinse out.

Your baby skin tone is stunning!
I liked you video and i subscribed 😍😘
Her hair😍I love it❣️
I loooveeeeee the Pantene stuff you used, I use it and it's amazing
Mmm I don’t like that smell, yuck
Anna Harman 😂😂😂😂😂
Try using a seam ripper to get pesky rubber bands out without cutting the hair. It's a life changer. ;)
Look I know silicones are bad but with tender headed kids just use silicones with the conditioner bc it has SLIP and it really shouldn’t be a problem
Use coconut curls that's the best I recommend it
*u guys don't have to be mixed to have girls like her u just take care of ur hair keep it moisturized and combed put and don't use ponytails it's breaking ur edeges off if u do it everyday so I suggest braids and pick it ,it helps :)well for me*
