Quiet confidence is scary to people who need to constantly prove themselves and their value to everyone. I think that she didn't like that you were not affected or afraid of her and she got scared! And then tried to be controlling by silent bullying you. Just my take on it.
Just did a rewatch of S7 and honestly Pearl was deeply underwhelming in almost every challenge and constantly complained and said she wanted to go home. It is clear the producers pushed her forward due to her sex appeal and an otherwise dull cast.
Big picture, I love Rupaul. But I also understand that to maintain the power dynamic of contestants wanting her approval, that she has to have fealty from them. it's insane to me that ru is mad at someone for trying to kill the tension that SHE created by being menacing??? and then michelle coming out speaking on 'not hating' and ru saying it's all about 'seeds of love' what planet are you on girl???
Roople has always given me very bad vibes. And the fact that the mask has dropped NUMEROUS TIMES on NATIONAL TELEVISION just tells me that off screen shes an ordeal I would never want to be around.
My theory is that Ru wants specific things from her contestants: humility, backstory to overcome, and quick wit/land the jokes. Pearl is a favorite of mine, because she’s so genuine. But I don’t think Ru felt like she could work with it, and it pissed her off. I think Ru also enjoys being doted on, and my guess is Pearl didn’t do a lot of that either.
I wonder if the reason only US all stars get called for international seasons is to stop queens like pearl, Courtney, etc from getting on tv again
This was pearls best makeup imo. It still looked like her persona but more elevated and clean. Now she just looks like every other instagram face.. same thing happened with Daya Betty’s makeup. She looks unrecognizable now and not in a good way (for me)
Not the producers apologizing for Ru like they a bad dog 😂
curious. the mythology of RPDR is always this.
That sounds scary!!!!!!
The laceeeee
Jealousy, Pearl is one of the most gorgeous queens to ever grace RuPauls stage 🤷♀️
Well after that clip I fell in love with Miss Pearl
the lace 😭
I love the color lipstick. What's the name and brand it is?
Quiet confidence is scary to people who need to constantly prove themselves and their value to everyone. I think that she didn't like that you were not affected or afraid of her and she got scared! And then tried to be controlling by silent bullying you. Just my take on it.
I have a feeling that ru had a crush on her
Ru and Tyra are the same person to me
Check ru's movies, there is the whole drama background of ru and her way of consideering treating queens on tour
Just did a rewatch of S7 and honestly Pearl was deeply underwhelming in almost every challenge and constantly complained and said she wanted to go home. It is clear the producers pushed her forward due to her sex appeal and an otherwise dull cast.
Love pearl!!!
Big picture, I love Rupaul. But I also understand that to maintain the power dynamic of contestants wanting her approval, that she has to have fealty from them. Sounds like she was trying to figure out her angle into Pearl's defenses but Pearl was actually an equal to Ru in that he's not swayed by someone's opinion. I think it's neat!
But seriously I would stare at Pearl
As well for 40 mins !!!
This brown lace is crazy
its makeup, half camp half contouring
What's the deal with the lace front? Are we using darker foundation to blend the lace now? 🤔 I'm always behind the curve...
Sounds like someone was jelly
Damn, Pearl looking gorgeous af
Maybe she was waiting for her to ask her to be her sponsor 😂😂😂
When Ru has a boomer moment aimed directly at your forehead
This make up is everything
Something happened off stage.
Fast fwd, Pearl is a full blown contractor.
R u is delulu
That's TERRIFYING.... DID RU HAVE A STROKE???
Srsly, I have only experienced people behave like this - particularly with the emotional outbursts following - after a SEVERE neurological episode.
For someone that has, by their own admission, done a lot of therapy, RuPaul really did not manage that situation well at all!
