I have a pair of Turbosound ip2000's which have similar specs. They can easily rock a room with 300 people sitting down. The issue is when those people stand up. The sound gets absorbed because of the speaker height. But you can't elevate them because the tweeter at the top needs to be just over head height or the audio gets muddy. Amazing speakers for the right conditions: events with good spacing between people and/or mostly sitting down. They are designed for poorly sound treated rooms, so gyms and other box-like rooms with solid surfaces are excellent. Rooms that are properly sound treated will drastically impact the effectiveness.
@@kellyaustin7487 I don't check my email very much where these comments go. I sent back the Rockville Titan, I had big hopes for it but it was a very cheesy product. I would rather spend money on a normal Behringer speaker then what I experienced with those.
I've ordered 4 of these from audiosavings, 3 of which arrived with either shipping damage or not functional. For the one that did arrive in decent condition, it gives a good amount of volume, comparable to Evolve 50's, just not as great of sound quality. For the price its a hard bargain to beat as long as they arrive in good condition and actually work.
So we were in a pinch and had to replace a speaker in a QSC KW153 and used a Rockville 15" and that was 2 years ago and still going strong. Have also used the 18" subs in a couple dual 18 box builds and they are really tough for the money and actually work well. The scary part of this array setup is the sub enclosure is a fairly thin MDF and probably stapled like the rest of their stuff as the MDF os so thin.. If you are on a budget it's totally worth a shot, and with the paid return shipping and 90 day trial how do you go wrong. I had to order one of these to see if it holds up to any of their claims and should have it by the end of this week.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! Just a small fyi I bought a few cases from them and returns weren't free. Buyer was responsible for return shipping
Right. From my experience anything Rockville brand always has free returns or at least anything I have bought. They also sell non Rockville equipment and maybe that’s the issue.
Got a of pair Evolve 50s and I doubt this speaker would be anything like it. Just being honest. I would use this speaker as a home entertainment speaker
Man really interested to hear them, think I'd have to set my expectations low but if they're quality they seem like they'd be perfect as a backup and for smaller gigs. The 300 person claim is definitely bold haha
I mean I think the Evolves are over rated, so these might definitely kill the resale value of the EVs. The Evolves were revolutionary for their time so they could justify the high price but now with speakers like this, I"m sure the sound quality isnt 60% less than the Evolves. They both have an SPL of 127, so they have similar throw. I'd say for most budget conscious DJS these are probably a good deal.
If it's this price and they don't want to "collaborate with vloggers" it might just be because they sound like a styrofoam cup and don't want you posting a demo. If this thing put out a decent sound then it would outsell the competition by an order of magnitude.
You get what you pay for. I bought a tricked out mixer from DjTech also the Behringer DDM4000💀. I know we're talking speakers but its basically the same concept, bullshit marketing or gimmicky features that turn out to be too clunky or just plain failure in practical applications. I recently sacrificed and bought the PRX ONE. These column array speakers are definitely the future but anything less than a renowned brand is a waste of money in my opinion. At least for now.
Max SPL 127db. Zero chance it will handle 300 people. Won't even handle 200 effectively. I call BS on their specs. Maui 44 G2's are not even appropriate for 300 people.
Bruh. Chomping at the bit for any review on these things. I can't find anything on these anywhere. For $600, tell me they're not hot garbage and I'll buy a pair.

I have two ip1000's and I agree. I pair them with a 15" QSC sub and good results with them overall!
Qsc doesn’t make a 15 inch sub
Ordered one and will be doing a video of the titan next to the EV 50, LD Maui and Titan. Stay tuned
Awesome! Can't wait
Will definitely be looking forward to seeing that.
Looking forward to your post on TH-cam.

Excellent sounding speaker. I bought a pair. Recommend a mixer and for larger shows use a 12" or 15" powered sub.
Cool thanks for the update!

The PRICE is APPEALING, the SPECS sound REASONABLE, the APPEARANCE is SLEEK and PRO GRADE. Would LOVE a SOUND REVIEW from YOUR CHANNEL!!!
Thanks man! I appreciate it. I would love one also! haha
Looking great. Excellent specs & wood cabinets.

I have a pair also and I love them. I have my reservations how this would compare
To bad they dont deliver easliy to Europe. I wanted a pair of RTP-GO totems but shipping them to Europe costs double the price of the totem set...
That's a bummer!
By the way I own 4 of their fog machines that all work well but the 1200w unit they sell is unbelievable, puts out a ridiculous amount of fog.
That's great to hear! I've had good luck with off brand fog machines as well!
Awesome! Where can I find this online?
Amazon link in the description of they're not sold out

A 300-person cocktail is VERY different from a 300-person dance party haha
@@DJDarylBennett trueeeee, my mind went straight to dance party lol ok they might be on to something then!

Daryl how did your titan array sound
Didn't ever get one
Will you be able to do a review on the rockville Array AR 15
Probably not, Rockville doesn’t collaborate with you tubers 🤷

Spl of 127 but how does it sound at that level. Athe an evolve 50’s are tested and proven. There has to be a reason these are so cheap!
How does the titan array sound
I'd like to know myself!
Have to see the new Rockville ar15. They are like the evox 12
Looks pretty darn similar! Pretty silly to name their speaker after a machine gun though
@@DJDarylBennett lol.
Rockville titan array pro speakers are aged buy and sound parity good

That definitely could be true!
you need to do the new MACKIE speaker with the removable mixer, nobody has done a video on it.
That sounds very cool! I'll reach out to them
I need to hear them too!!!
It'll be interesting indeed!

The prx one seems awesome! I have the eon one pro and it's pretty great as a ceremony speaker
Hope to hear these..made of wood not plastic.
Me too

You're prolly right, The evolve 50s are 127 and two of them for a 200 person dance party is not enough.
They forgot to add after 300 people. Having dinner and background music.

If you buy them come back and let us know!
I love their lights I don’t trust their speakers
That's fair!
What does everyone think to the Sound Master 121 MK compared to this ??
