this is so inspirational. I have fallen in love with trying to create my own animated films and this is extreme proof that it can be done an a super impressive level. You are gifted. i strive to be this good. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much, glad it could inspire you!
So many skillsets necessary to create this. Absolutely incredible one man production. Reading about your project from Zach, I was interested to see it. I didn't expect such an enormous outcome. In addition to the video, the soundtrack production is over the top! You should be very proud of this accomplishments; it is certainly something I can show people who ask what Blender is.
To witness history being brought to life like this is truly the experience of a lifetime. As I write this I still have tears running down my face. Truly an age of heroes.
Beautifully, made, beautifully composed. Fantastic theme and like I said before numerous times, you are a master !
Also and considering the fact of your achievement here, I must thank you because those like me who loves that era, that ancient world, you gave us a beautiful support. Support as a visualisation base, and as an inspiration.
Love your assets, your choices, the support, the music, narration and the script. Everything is on a very high level, equal to a studio, by yourself, wonderful.
I also would be more than happy if you achieve to continue that wonderful start !!!
Very well put! This short is such a love letter for all the depictions of Antiquity that came before and is done so well.
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment Sebastien - and your longtime support of my project! I truly appreciate it and be sure I’ll continue with HoB 😊
The colours, the sounds ,the movements ,the script this was simply amazing i dont have anything more to say but BRILLIANT
This is amazing work! Been practicing with Blender for about 2 years now when I can find the time and short films like yours are absolutely the type of work that get my heart pumping and give my desire to accomplish more a top off. Again, great work and I look forward to seeing whatever it is you work on next.
This is beyond any expectations. Almost 1 man project for 4 years of work. Incredible times we are living in.
Exciting times indeed 😊 Thank you!
HOLY MOTHER OF ZUES that was some quality passion and work you put into this brother. This exceeded my expectation and Awd me completely. Huge work on those battle sequence all by yourself. Thanks for sharing this amazing process with everyone too
I'm still blown away by this one-man production!!
I've always been fascinated by the history of the ancient Greeks! Would love to see more of them... 👍🏻
How lucky I am that the algorithm recommended this to me while sitting here and drinking my morning coffee. I had no knowledge of this before I clicked it and I felt myself wondering if this was an upcoming movie, television series, or video game. To find out this splendid video was a passion project by a single man is just astonishing! So glad I found this!
Well done Martin! The short is absolutely mindblowing and I can only begin to imagine the amount of effort that must have went into this. The level of detail and carefully sculpted cinematography in every single shot is truly amazing. It's an amazing accomplishment to achieve this mastery of your craft, and it is an amazing work.
(Also thank you so much for the incredible 3D environments course, it gives such great insights into your workflow for creating such amazing landscapes and scenery as in this short)
This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen, please make a series or a film based on this
First short film of this year 🔥❤️
Edit: now, eagerly waiting for second part...
2yr or 5yr but make it. 👍
THIS is much more, what greek and persian warriors looked like!!! You even respect the smallest details, one could find. For example the way the warrior at the end wears his helmet!! It is fantastic! Thanks for that!
Looks absolutely incredible.
This is so good. The crowds look incredible. Well done!
Я очень люблю греческую историю. Привет из россии🇷🇺🇬🇷
Wow! I could totally watch an entire series on this. Everything looks so good!
As a Persian I can say getting our asses kicked never looked this cool
I've never been happier to randomly stumble across a video in my entire life
Love this! I think Phillip of Macedom and Alexander the Great have been very poorly represented in modern media. A true series in the style of Game of Thrones (but accurate) would be an amazing way to represent their legacy
Philipos the great Greek king who unify Greek city states
Man as history geek I absolutely love when people take on history in video games and animation and what not. It is a very hard thing to do because of the accuracies you try to follow and just the little details just fills this geeks heart.
Awesome to hear! 🙂
My Greek dad went ape sh#@t watching this, we were both ooga booging
My dad and I did the same thing when we watched 300 lol
