You know had Chang been honest in this film rather than outright lie about the Swan's purpose, it would have prevented Locke from almost ending the world.

The Pearl video was made before,the reason that leads you to understand that it was done afterwards is the VHS, but they did not use vhs in the swan because the material would be erased due to electromagnetism
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just an error of film continuity. Small details that change in future production overlooked in previous episodes. I never thought about it until you brought it up so I’m willing to bet neither did they. But Who’s to say? Maybe it’s part of the mystery…
I guess the people working in the Pearl station represented the doubt the Swan workers had to suffer because they never got to see the timer hitting 0. Had they protested then tey would investigate what to do about their doubts.

Dude he was an actor in for the dharma videos. Pierre Chang's character is awesome. One of my favorite stories within lost.
Wrong originally that was the swans purpose but when the incident happened now it ironically became of the utmost importance and it became very real.

This show could have been the greatest series ever. Purgatory was such a cop-out.
