Nicely done. Me and my wingman killed the first cyclops few days ago and then basilisk. Feels good. For the video use the night vision and while you boost away just empty the magazine in the void and come back rearmed. I had to start to do this as it is always: clean shot= reload....
update: i made 80% of your build, went to defend a planetary outpost in solo and in the first 1.5hrs i made 100+mil and haven't been shot down, I DID SHOOT DOWN A BASILISK and later went in open and in another 3hrs with a help of 3 cmdrs got another 500mill. Blew up only once as thrusters let me bounce few times due to massive heat. - DO THIS BUILD WITH FDS - 4x shard+ 1x beam. The grouping should still be good. FDL might be to fragile to try
Glad to hear you are enjoying the build. The Shards do spike the heat particularly when firing them all together, I have mine set so the centre one fires with the right and the left fires with the AX cannon on fire group one, fire group two I have the beams together on one trigger and the other is the AX cannon again, last fire group xeno scanner and S.F.N. 👍 It's funny you mentioned the FDL as I have been thinking of doing just that, but with concerns about the weak Hull like you say 😅
Do what I do, and make more frequent repairs at the Station 😎👍. I just took out a Basilisk yesterday and got shot down just a few feet from the landing pad by a Cyclops Swarm with 25% Hull remaining, I must have got hit by the entire swarm! Good fun though.😅

@@ragingbaboon113 I've made a few tweaks recently since I posted the build, replace the 5D and 3D Guardian modules for 5E and 3E, you'll gain another 55 integrity points with only a 5% reduction to module protection. Leave the other two smaller ones as D rated. 👍

I've noticed that some ppl use the night vision when fighting goids, why is that?
@@eliteengineerdaz you always see the outlines and even if your canopy goes bye bye you still see. I fly only with NV to hunt goids

@@eliteengineerdaz when you do the 50/50 hull/g.module reinforcement, FDL will be worse than vulture and viper4 at least on the paper
