2023 Pineywoods IDPA Match - BUG Division Champion

I shot the 2023 Pineywoods IDPA Match on Saturday, September 23rd and managed to pull the BUG Division win despite a few significant errors that cost me several seconds. This served as a good check on learning in preparation for the IDPA World Championship next month. Overall, I am happy with my performance and am doing better with "being ready to shoot" as I enter positions. This focus has caused some other areas to falter that I need to revisit and pay more attention to.
A huge thank you to Ralph with Boudreau's Bullets. His bullets are excellent, feed well, and don't gum up any reloading equipment for stain fingers! Plus, he has a variety of colors, weights, and profiles to fit your needs.
Kyle Fender and his team put on an awesome and interesting match and I highly recommend attending this match if you are able. I will definitely return next year if I can.

Great performance! So I like BUG a lot also shoot CO. Still new though. I dryfire everyday and wanted to know how many rounds per year to be this good?

Thanks! I'm flattered you think so. Honestly, the bigger payoff has been with dry fire. Searching for Ben Stoeger, Rob Epifania, Jay Beal, and a few others will get you a good jump start. Their videos helped me go from "endless and pointless clicking" to isolating different skillets

Great job, what magazine base pads did you use to fit the box?

Thanks! They are the NDZ basepads. There are a ton of basepads out there that help with keeping the magazine from disappearing into the magwell and still fit the box

What reloading data are you running on the g26? Tempted to start doing bug.

@@ITRLOVER I use 125gr Boudreau's Bullets with 3.8gr N320. Haven't had a need to try and game down the power factor. In my experience, you start to need to change out recoil springs once you take the power factor below around 115 on a glock 26.

So did you modify a beaver tail backstrap to the box?

Yeah, I had to dremel the beavertail in a bit to fit the box. I wanted the extra trigger reach and some the beavertail to prevent slide bite.
