what if you mounted that hinge upside down. Yes, it would limit the travel, but it would help get it out of the slipstream. Also, what about rain? How do you keep a puddle from forming in your wing and corroding the heck out of the aluminum? Are you worried about whatever you put in the locker making its way into your wing into some inaccessible place and possibly jamming a control? Lastly, why do you have inspection ports on the top skin? I would think with all these interferences in airflow you'd kill some of your climb and airspeed. The reason I'm asking is, I'm building a CH650 and am considering putting in the wing lockers, but all these things have crossed my mind.
Lol um its not a 200kts airplane.. doesn't effect speeds one bit... and my lockers are sealed and carpeted.. rain? Um who cares.. you think anything on this plane s water tight? Not a chance.. inspection port is fuel sender access.. nothing more
Your wing has weeping holes... it will condensate on its own inside the wings... if your worried about corrosion then you better prime it... i dont worry about it at all.. these are cheap throw away airplanes... they dont hold value and there just a slow borring plane..lol .. if it was a rv 14 or something then it would all be alittle different...
What is in the space under the raised floor of the baggage area in the cabin? I'm wondering why the baggage area is so shallow.
"Honey, I have to go out to the airport this weekend." (Don't know why yet, but i just know i HAVE to!)

I climb 1100fpm and cruise 130mph... that little bit ain't hurting nothing...
The 650 is a slow draggy airplane... dont read into it to much.. build it and and fly it.. its not a space shuttle
@@carlmccall7198 which engine and prop are you running? I'm still in the decision making phase.

Does that hinge sticking up make any noticeable performance loss? Looks like a miniature speed brake...
Lol dude no.. talking a 1/4".. you think im flying 300kts?🤣🤣
@@carlmccall7198 haha let’s call it miniature VGs then! Lol
