I currently work at Sonic and when I first tasted the burger it just tasted like a big Mac that was trying to be something different. The second time I made one I made a few changes. I added a little salt and pepper with the smasher seasoning, caramelized the onions, added mayo and topped it all off with bacon and queso cheese. It was now a proper burger that stood out from the crowd.
I don't care if you work there or not, or if that was real or not, at the end of the day, I like the way you think about a burger. 🤌

I thought it was going to be something special, i would think if the sauce was more like the Stacker sauce from BK it would be better(which for some dumb reason they dont keep burgers with it year round)

All of the In N Outs where I live still have drive-thru's backed up well into the street. There's one of the few places that didn't jack up their prices during Covid. 5 Guys for sure is having a hard time since they got greedy and more than doubled their food prices.
I went to InNOut not long ago, around 2:00pm on a Tuesday, and it was still packed. Not what I was expecting.

I think Sonic isn't fancy but the food is just as good as 'big' chains.
Where they do excel is more out of the box items. Mozz sticks, jalapeno poppers, popcorn chicken,
hot dogs, various specialty sandwiches that get rotated. Plus the large selection of different drinks and shakes. And the breakfast menu is really good.

I’d rather have too many picked than too few. If there are too many I would just eat them separately.
They all get cheap with the toppings, but the worst is limp onions and the outside leafs of limp, partially rotted lettuce that are complet- ly non- chewable.

Have you ever been to Culver's? I've discovered the Sourdough Melt and now find myself wanting to go back. It's basically just a patty melt, but it comes with Cheddar and grilled onions. I don't work at Culver's or have stock I just love food! 😊

The *best* fast food cheeseburger exists at *Burger Basket & Grill* in Arlington, TX. Burgers are ASTOUNDING. Tasted like drive thru burgers from the 80s. Simple and excellent. Absolute gem of a place. They don't make it till you order it, so drive thru is slow. Best part? It's cheaper than Whataburger.

Yes! So much yes! Independent fast food is sooooo much better! Here on LI we have All American and Burger City and they're both some of the best burgers I've ever had.
For the mid-michigan region people, "Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers" is a great independent fastfood place. Two locations, one in Grand Blanc the other in Flint. They're a bit on the higher price for fastfood sandwiches ($8-$12+) but also I've had the literal best burger of my life at the Grand Blanc location.
