Vibrant fall colors begin to fill the Great Smoky Mountains and East Tennessee

There's still a lot of green in the lower elevations of the foothills, but as you head higher up in the Smokies you'll be greeted with wonderful fall colors.

I am comin to visit next week. I noticed the vehicle speed limit is fairly slow, which makes me believe Old Smokey Patrol is out there w a radar device. I am curious are these roads treated as a profit center and taxation for the municipalities? Would like to hear from the general public.
