We just returned from vacationing in the Smoky Mountains. The entire national park was breathtaking! We saw a black bear peering from behind a tree, and another one in a stream - flipping over a stone with his paw. He probably was searching for breakfast! Autumn is beautiful, indeed.

The best way to enjoy the Smokey Mountains in Autumn is on foot under the canopy of leaves. Looking at a vista, looks mostly rust colored and a little drab. From the forest floor you can enjoy the many colors and the beautiful shape of the leaves.

Having just gotten back from there yesterday I can tell you this is not current video footage. The leaves in the majority of the park I have just barely started to change colors. On the North Carolina side it is a little bit better but not completely like the pictures they're showing you. It is a beautiful area though I'm sure this is footage from last year or previous years
