This is a huge shot in the dark, but i have a copy without the english patch, and im wondering if anyone knows how to unlock the locked game mode on the top right of the home screen?

I game that dates back all the way to 2013 is kinda ridiculous to add onto the switch, but okay. Probably a remaster would be better, or a second version of this game in 3D

But yeah a rerelease is still unlikely

Yo I really really need to know before getting this game, is this game like street fighter with the key commands and stuff, cause I’m really bad at street fighter and I don’t wanna be bad at this game

No it's a much simpler fighter that uses directions instead of command motions.
