All back evade attacks give invincibility frames but have different timings. In order to perform the dodge you see in the video, you have to first do a side step dodge (which has its own invincibility frames) followed up by a back evade attack. That way the invincibility frames stack and help you evade the attack without the need to roll!
Trust me I wanted to! it's just I didn't really see the damage difference between it and the guardian shield. Also the parry window on it is a bit difficult and being in school right now I didn't really have the time to learn it 😔
