- The most charming town in Wales is said to be Ruthin, Denbighshire.
Steeped in history and full of charming old buildings. It was described by the former chairman of the National Trust as "the most charming small town in Wales". High praise indeed.
We enjoyed a wander around the town, discovering what it has to offer while on a recent trip to North Wales.
We certainly agree it is a lovely town, but will let you decide if it is The most Charming.

So true, this is a very charming town. Love all of those amazing buildings. The craft center had some wonderful artwork. Those little spy holes and the old castle were so very interesting. So much history in this town. Thanks for sharing and have a great week

I came in on the rear end of the premier. After I replayed this I can understand why Team Watto & Kim broke the internet🤣.
This video was *AWESOME* guys. Don't think I'll be checking out any books. They probably have gallows or a rack for scofflaws😅. The exposed timber framed houses are amazing. Pay attention to Kims intuition. Don't want to cross the path with an unfriendly spirit. Do they have a good stout there? I love a good stout and teddies. Wales...another of my bucket-list destinations. Love the look of those timber houses. Tremendous amounts of different foliage around the castle...very cool. What a wonderful idea with the spy holes...that would really get young people enthused about getting to the next one I think. Always got time for a horsey ride! Great tour...Bruce and Otis

What a lovely park to start your adventure. It would be our dream to visit Wales and England in general. So beautiful, we always say "if the walls could talk, oh the tales they would tell. The hand blown glass was nice, but the teddy bear house, Christina would go nuts as she is a teddy bear collector. WOW those gates with the angels what fantastic artistry. What great fun on that Norseman horse teeter-tawter. Great video on Ruthin. Cheers!

Ruthin looks like a very cute town for sure! I enjoyed all those little spy holes that showed interesting features off in the distance - very cool! It has quite a diverse history too. Love how you finished off back at the park to "ride off into the sunset." 😆

Wales appears to have a lot of beautiful sites to explore! The grounds surrounding the castle walls are beautiful! What a brilliant concept with the spy holes! Every stroll you take us on is more lovely and pleasant than the previous one! 🤗🤗

I would say it definitely qualifies as such! Very picturesque and charming. I love the gardens around the castle walls, so attractive. Mind out for those ghosties, Kim! The little spy holes are a different idea - and fun. Great to see those old-fashioned rides in the park. I thought Elf and Safety would have closed them down long ago! Great video - I really enjoyed it! 😍😍

I feel like anything built today could not stand the test of time these buildings have. The castle grounds were beautiful. Kind of a shame they moved the live stock market to out of town, who doesn't like farm animals?.. you know besides those who have to clean up after them...

Not much rain in Wales😳, it always hoys it down when ever we go lol. Nice village and a lot of the houses remind me of Chester. The castle (jail lol) looked very good and must be haunted, or so I would like to think so. Looked like plenty to do and see there, especially with all the swings there lol, cheers Alan

I’ve lived here my whole life and I love it. It’s quite a safe town and the school I go to has become in recent years one of the highest performing schools in wales! Like all places though there are massive issues with poverty, drunkenness and quite honestly a lot of pedos

Church and mention the peep holes. It's not easy to get all of that in in 30 mins because they're is so much history there . You did a great tour and nice shout outs to Postcard . Loved it 👍

Tom Price Memorial. We have a Mount Tom Price in Australia. It is an iron ore mine. Only in a Australia would they name a bloody great hole in a the ground a mount. Maybe it was a mount before they dug it up. If you ever come to Australia you will find that we have bloody great holes everywhere. I don't think we have any other mountains named after formula one drivers though.

I loved this wander around such a charming and historic town in North Wales. I'd not heard of it before, and, although it is not in my area, it looks like my sort of town, not too busy or noisy; perfect for vlogging around.
