im running a 3080. i thought the game was so blurry and just nobody can see past 40m at all until i finally found what works to make it way more clear for me. Like night/day difference. i had to run dlss but with dlss super resolution set to OFF. This is the only one i could see that there is no grainy looking textures and everything is clear for at least 100m or more. Yes it looks like fps goes down to 55-60 but i dont notice a thing framewise. Its still more smooth than i'd imagine it should be. i notice no lag except for a few times during chopper rides but not every time. figure may still be server issues so idk. Even scoping in i have no problems at all. pretty quick and sharp with no lag. Even though it shows in the 40's it sure doesnt feel like it. i run DLSS sharpening at 0 and run the post processing sharpness at 67 or so and run post processing setting on low. I run everything on high because no matter what i select, fps only drops by like 1-2 between any of the settings and epic doesnt change a single thing look wise for me. Just thought i'd share if anyone is getting so annoyed by everything looking blurry, this is what fixed it for me. it was giving me a headache with any of the other settings i've tried.
To any sane person.. Vertical FOV is NOT necessary and having a lower field of view can actually make aiming easier. Do not get this confused with horizontal fov. Find a spot where you can still easily see when aiming down sights but try to keep it as low as you can stand it for better FPS
Dont run FSR with RTX 30 series. It went well for some hours and the my game kept crashing. Switched back to DLSS fixed it.
my i9 and 3080 were balanced with no bottleneck using the calculator. so, on or on with boost? lol
I've set everything to epic and still think it looks kinda ugly =/
Thank you so much I was lost for 2 hours
Why shadows on high? 🤔
What gpu you have ?
4070
I’m using 4090 but I did not find Dlss Frame rate generate selection
Oh really? I suspect you don't really need it in a 4090 though? Is it not really smooth regardless?
@@BillyCrock GPU runs at 90%, but CPU is taken too much. The screen would constantly freeze when on the helicopter. And I can’t find DLSS frame generation option like you showed in the video. 🥲
@@yong9612 that's rough bro. I've not seen any real fixes for the freezing up whilst in the chopper, I know it's annoying AF, but at least it isn't happening whilst in gun fights etc.
@@yong9612 For the NVidia RTX 40xx series, use the Toggle on Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling at 'Windows Display Settings- after enabling/restarting the PC. The frame gen feature will be enabled in the game (Options / Graphics / DLSS Frame Generation).
I hope it works. I solved my problem this way.
@@astrophiv thank you so much for telling me this!
still blurry :(
thanks a lot u saved my game lol
ey mate what gpu do you rock?
4070 according to 0:58
Still works like a charm, 3080
Thank you .
runs good thx
fsr frame gen is not good better to turn off looks better so and native aa is the best Option!
"bottleneck calculators" are not a thing. it's not possible to determine a bottleneck when you don't even specify a task.
I understand, but for a video (which I was trying to keep under 2 mins) and where the vast majority of cases in this game, will be a GPU intensive task, then this will be correct the vast majority of the time. If you wish to type a more detailed way for people to know if their system is GPU or CPU bound for this game, and do it in 20-30 seconds, then be my guest!
@@BillyCrock the only thing you can accurately point to is benchmarks with different hardware configurations.
if you have a 2600x and an rx 580, look at performance results from benchmarks from the task at hand (in this case, gray zone). if you're not happy with the performance the 2600x and rx 580 gives you, find benchmarks of gray zone with one of the components swapped out for another and see what makes a difference.
im playing with rx580 and its dog..
1:22 you shouldn't use frame generation in a competitive shooter, because it adds a ton of input lag. the frames you're creating aren't just not real, but splicing them in between the real frames your card is generating is adding a delay to everything you do.
Are you calling Gray Zone Warfare as competitive shooter?
@@FLAMEKKi is it not a multiplayer extraction shooter, where theoretically every millisecond counts?
@@shade221It is, however its not competetive shooter which was my point.
I'd agree in a game like call of duty where you can already achieve 100+ frames in native resolution on a lot of high end graphic cards at 1440p and above. But since this isn't possible on the vast majority of pc's in Gray Zone Warfare, and I say this using a 4070, and having spoke to people using 3080's etc, then I would easily argue that having essentially double my frame rate is far more important than having about 5-10ms slower response time. And given that at at 120fps, each frame is roughly 8ms, I think almost doubling my frames from 50 to 100, it is VERY worth it, to stick frame generation on, as the increase makes the delay negligible, as I'm going to have more time to react in total with it on than off.
@@FLAMEKKi define competitive shooter. i wasn't aware that "competitive shooter" meant anything other that "pvp game that involves shooting"
Frame generation is horrible. They’re fake frames and I don’t feel like explaining it.😂
I'm just going to copy any paste a response from someone else talking about the delay it adds, as that's what I suspect you're on about. However if you CBA to talk about it, why comment about it in the first place?

this only helps if people have a 100000000000 dollar pc dude. Disliked
Fsr doesn't require a very expensive pc. But you have to understand, this game was built in unreal engine 5, every game on that engine will be hard to run, due to the massive graphical improvements
oh god this looks so bad.
It is like... un melting pot of : CoD + SQUAD + 100 other FPS...but broken, like the AI.. 🤢 🤮🤢🤮
EDIT : Star Citizen has a better AI

Typical twit, complaining how it looks on a TH-cam video. If you actually tried it you would know it looks far better than any crap CoD has released. But ignorance is bliss for some people.
