    Nice honest review and loved the grooves, particularly the final one.
    The 2600m is another keeper. I'd always wanted a 2600, so a brand new one that's nice and compact makes me smile from ear to ear.

      Thanks for stopping by Alex ! Indeed quite a killer machine even with it's minor built quality weirdness.

    Great review. I wasn’t quite convinced vs my giant pile of modular, but given how absurd exchange rates are from USD to Euro at the moment, I feel like I should just go for it and get one from Thomann.

    Nice! Love trackers! Good choice as a sequencer. Got the Behringer 2600. Others are out of my price range. Sofar very happy with it.

    Hey Stazma. You really sold me on the arp2600m.
    I'm trying to route my ableton output via my interface to the input of the 2600 and routing the output of the spring reverb back into ableton.
    How should I go about it? So far this is what I've tried with no output.
    Output 4 from my interface going into the preamp slot.
    The L and R outputs of the 2600 are routed into inputs 1 and 2 on my interface.
    On the sends track, I have the external audio device with output going to output 4 and input to 1 and 2.

      Sorry but you'll be happy with it I hope ;-)
      Take your signal out form your audio interface to the preamp, preamp out to the mixer, crank the reverb sliders and listen / record your main out.

      It's incredible so far for electro Basslines for me! I'm making a dub techno tune where I'm trying to use it for super loud clangs on a send in Ableton.
      Do I put the output from preamp to the mixer above the vcf/ vca or the inputs on the top right?

    • @Stazma
      @Stazma  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Cybercowboy_69 the inputs to the mixer are the one labeled VCF / VCA as this is what is going in these if nothing is pluged in ;-)

    Very nice demo! I like it much!
    I have some questions please: Do you have any recommendations for the microphones for recording the speakers of ARP2600/M? Which microphones do you use? Which types of microphones can be used usefully to get the best results for recording of the „beast“?😅

    • @Stazma
      @Stazma  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glad you enjoyed the demo ;-) About recording the speakers I tried with my RE-20 (seen in the video) as well as with my Zoom H4n. I'm yet to try with a static mic. But if you like lo-fi ambient, any field recorder will do the trick I think. Best is to take both the line out and a mic to blend together after.

    At 6:14 I hear that the sound is very dirty, as if there is a unwanted distortion due to the picks of volume.

      The recording was fine, but there is often some weird artifact due to TH-cam Mp3 convertion.

    would you choose the far more expensive 2600 full size reissue or the 2600m based on sound?

    • @Stazma
      @Stazma  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I guess I would go for the full size more for the interface than the sound, they seem rather similar exept for the spring reverb. But it’s way too big for my place, the M is exactly what I wanted.
