WCB Classic Traditional Hunter Style Horseshoeing Day-Tool and Fullered

We just got done competing at the ‪@wcbfarrier‬ World Horseshoeing Classic at Spy Coast Farms in Lexington, Kentucky and this is day 2 of 3, the "Traditional Hunter Shoeing Class". This video shows a lot of the different teams competing for the top spot and the different levels of difficulty from which horse you draw for your team. Each class is 2.5 hours long to get finished shoeing a full horse with handmade tool and fullered horseshoes. There's two other days of competition that I'll be putting videos up of, so stay tuned for them!

Here's a dumb question: why would you be more careful and precise and accurate with your shoeing for a judge which can't know how it fits or feels on the horse to the horse than when you're shoeing for the purpose of maintaining a healthy horse?
