Thank you. This is a necessary conversation. Speaking for myself, I've suffered from depression and anxiety for decades, but finally got to manage it within the past 5-6 years. In 2012 I almost took my life after I got divorced. I seeked help and turned s new leaf on life. At this point, I haven't touched hard drugs or alcohol in over 3 years. This DJ lifestyle can get to you. Heath has a lot to do with it. I still struggle with what I eat, but going to gym or a walk, being active not only helps your physical health but you also feel good and accomplished, which is great for your mental health. We need to speak more to each other when we are stressed out. The line of communication needs to be open 24/7. One love.

Speaking out in public & online platforms is key! There’s so many people that have gone through or are going through these kind of issues! It’s very important people know they’re not the odd ones out AND more importantly that we have both experienced these things & have different solutions and coping methods!

But you can heal yourself with this music because I did! Don’t give up and always take care of yourself first! Sleep, eat, exercise Weight lifting is essential for the chemicals in your brain to be working correctly! Thank you for posting this video!

Do you think there is a connection with the majority of the music you play and depression as majority of house and edm is in the minor key?..
