So I decided to do a behind the scenes to that video and show yall how I budget my money and still kinda grocery shop as a broke college student! I hope this video is helpful for yall and you see the different apps I use to budget my money while in college!

Do you budget your entire month or paycheck to paycheck? I get paid biweekly and was trying to figure out a good budget system.

Thanks a ton for the tips! But something just hit my mind when you were talking about paycheques. Are you taxed for your salary? If yes, could you please tell how much?
Yes, taxes are taken out of our paychecks before they come to us. Honestly I'm not sure how much, but probably 7-8% maybe???

Not very sure if you use Huntington, but would you suggest using that app or their app? I'm moving down to Columbus in 1 short month and I'm trying to plan everything out!
I use Huntington and I noticed they help you budget now too with an update but me personally I’ve been so used to every dollar so I’m sticking with that. I haven’t really explored Huntington. But they may automatically subtract money from your categories for you since it’s your actual bank while every dollar you have to manually input your transactions. But I’m not 100% sure or familiar with it.

I just work for customer service in general and talk to new students and answer all of their questions!

What is the apps name?

So I recently got the app but after I put in my income and my expenses. Afterwords the remaining tab shows a number for "remaining this month" and a different number that says "left to budget" I dont understand
If your expenses are more than your income then you will be over budget. so if your paycheck is $200 and you spent $250 then you will be over budget! If that makes sense.

Your ‘left to budget’ is the left over money from your paycheck that hasn’t been allocated to a category!
The ‘remaining this month’ is the amount of your allocated budget that you can still spend before hitting your budget or going over budget!

There are actually a whole lot of them, you just have to browse closely; there are definitely some dollar stores by 125th and up. I hope this helps!!

Kindddaaaaa but not really. I don’t eat a lot of meat because most meats make me sick, I don’t know why lol. So I try and not eat so much meat or my body hates me for it lol. But I’ll still eat it here and there! I just usually regret it later.
