Don't waste your money too much on the PS5. The PS5 has the controller of the X Box One or X Box X and the makings of a Nintendo Wii. When I am getting my game system I want my console laying down and not standing up that's why I could not buy a Wii. It seems like the newer the device the slower the installation of the games and therefore the slower the progress of downloading. The PS4 is not what it's couched up to be you will buy it and be disappointed after looking at it for a while. I think the PS5 looks like something that a kid drew and the framework of the PS5 is something that a toddler would make. The PS4 is much better than the PS5. The PS4 when you look at it in retrospect looks better than the PS5 by means of controller and system. The PS4 would be a better deal than a PS5 because the system and the controller looks very authentic. The PS5 controller looks more like the controller of the previous X Boxes and the system looks kinda nerfed.
Something about this Unboxing and video seems calm, cool, and more of a realistic experience of what the purchase and set up would actually be like. Lol. (Probably because there's no fancy hype and effects and dramatics about the whole thing, lol). Feels like I'm there with the real person just talking and setting up, lol. Natural and realistic 👍🏾
I think that instead of having to release a new console with a new look, Sony would resort to just selling the side plates instead of a whole console. That way you can change it yourself and the installing process isn't hard
Well, the LEDs kinda won't change because they have a function to let you know when it's booting up, on, or in rest mode. However, the plates literally detach easy and no doubt Sony or 3rd party suppliers will offer these. I mean, based on the cease and desist order given out to a 3rd party supplier, it seems likely Sony would do it themselves at some point, but nothing is really stopping you from spray painting it yourself- quite easily in theory, I may add. Personally, nothing is wrong with the clean and modern aesthetic Sony are going for, but whatever floats your boat. I just find that black ages BADLY and gets all scratched and greasy looking over time. White is definitely better in my opinion and for my setup. It generally just distinguishes itself from the previous boring color scheme of years past, especially with the iconic design Sony is known for.
This was such a cool video. I liked the fact he didn’t talk over most of the stuff, kept it simple as it should be. No flashy cinematics that would make it feel like a paid sponsorship.

Just a FYI. Not saying this will happen to everyone but some PS5 Boxes were damaged during the shipping process. Due to this some people are told not to carry the PS5 from the top handle as the box is fragile and the handle could break.

There's no real point having a ps5 so soon, aside from the inevitable day one growing pains/ bricked consoles on either side, there's not much being released this side of this year that stands out game-wise as distinctly "next gen" thay is only on next gen consoles to fully leverage their capabilities. I expect it to change over time, obviously, but people who spend like 700-1,000 on a system from scalpers, that will be significantly cheaper at a retail price when in stock, is a testament to how the FOMO is stopping people thinking logically to do something so stupid as pay extortionate prices for a system that may potentially have flaws or be defective in some way. Also, you'll have support for NVMe SSD expansion later on to get upwards of 1TB or more. It makes no sense, but I do get people being excited.

The best part is this requires minimal tools and you don't even need tools to get inside the ps5; better yet, the ps5 allows this without voiding warranty, unlike xbox which only have their proprietary storage that only stands at 1TB. Basically, when a bunch of 3rd part SSDs are whitelisted as compatibile, you can expect A) the prices to go down and B) a flexible variety of storage depending on your needs, since the PS5 supports full size SSDs that's more a norm on PCs. There's also other benefits to this, not only for storage flexibility, but also thermals since these get hot and the PS5 SSDs are getting cooled by the system itself, opposed to being external and subject to damage/ wear and tear like xbox's option. I guess time will tell but anything proprietary like this is never that consumer friendly and ultimately ends up being a monopoly. I digress, but I urge you to watch the teardown that helps visualize and put it into perspective.

The PS5 side panels are removable so third party companies might sell custom panels. Similar to how people sell custom Nintendo Switch joycons

My ps5 has a disk error and some graphic problems I hope there is a update to fix this problem I don't know if it's just me but it's not cool when I dropped 500 bucks on it
Sorry to hear that, I haven't heard anything like that so far. You should check with Playstation support.
After I updated my ps5 the problems went away with ps5 games but every once in a while the disk drive has a error with ps4 games.
