Mine is scheduled for install this weekend and I cannot wait. Same color Bronco, too. I feel it gives a retro yet more aggressive look to an already gorgeous vehicle.
Installed mine yesterday. The piece on the fenders tested me but I won. I marked the occasional small dot with a sharpie to keep the lines straight. Make sure you mark a line on that fender after the body line ends. The decal goes way past and it’s easy to miss by a little. I did. It’s not noticeable, but I see it.
kit looks awesome and I plan to buy as well as already have an installer lined up for when my order gets built next month. I was planning on doing a ceramic coating myself such as Avalonking. Is the stripe safe for ceramic coatings?
Great job! I've been eyeing these style stripes since I got my Bronco a couple of weeks ago. I've installed a few vinyl decals in the past and have always found using soapy water was easiest. You made it look way too easy without.... Any reason NOT to use soapy water?
The vinyl we use is wrap vinyl, which has air release adhesive. Designed by manufacturer for dry install only. I've seen (and done the wet), but it is not recommended or warrantied if done wet by a certified installer.
Matte white on a Cactus Gray please., just for reference. Was this the "Angled Close or Angled Open" Version? Seems to me it is the open as it connects to the hood sticker. On your website the Closed Top isn't very clear. The edge on an open version should be 3 stripes all running in the same direction and ending independently. And the closed version makes sense to have the thin stripes cage in the fat stripe where it meets the hood. Does this make sense? Either way, love these stripes, looking forward to a Matte White Curved Closed (just the sides) on a 2 door in Cactus Gray, hence the request on a demo. Thank you kindly.
Appreciate the response! it is a bit confusing, and as much time as we've spent on these kits, I can get lost in them. We're always open for suggestions and offer any of our kits edited or customized for you shoudl you prefer a change. As far as a white kit on a CG, Still waiting for customer supplied photos. However, I can render for you. Shoot me an email: greg@undergroundgraphics.com
of course, unfortunately, we have not had one in our shop for proper templates. Please send me an email, we can start a correspondance and at least get design down. I can continue to look for a local Sport. greg@undergroundgraphics.com
This is 100x harder than it looks..first piece in and ruined..looks like il have to order a new piece.. strongly strongly suggest you take this into someone to have it done. Even if you have experience of some sort. This was a catastrophe for me
Same here. The video should be of the pros walking a newbie through the install so people can really see what they are getting themselves into. I recommend a pro install.
Been at this for well over 20 years, never had an issue with rings or watches. Now, I did learn the hard way on belt buckles and pocket knives a long time ago! Only had to happen once, ...per item.

I’ve been wanting this kit. What would look better on Area 51-Matt, satin or gloss black? Does one last longer than another?
Awesome
What other colors does this kit come in, if any?
How much for that exact kit?
What precautions should be taken when waxing/washing your vehicle after 3M matte black decal is installed? Thanks
No wax on the matte vinyl. We recommend ceramic coating and keeping it clean with quick detail spray.
nice
Would you potentially be able to put this on a bronco sport?

Where did you get the decal?
...he makes and sells them...
What color/finish is this graphic you are installing?
3M Deep Matte Black
Bronco emblem?

You're not wrong
I cringe when I see people wearing watches and rings when working so close to the paint.
