We'll debunk the myth of the "strong, silent type" and reveal the hidden benefits of strategic alone time. Discover how loneliness can fuel creativity, self-discovery, and even forge deeper connections.
But hold on, this isn't a celebration of isolation! We'll also explore the dangers of confusing loneliness with solitude and the importance of striking a healthy balance.
Needed this rn, I moved 3000 miles with my partner to live with my best friend. 3 months later and ive broken up with my partner, lost my friends, Im completely alone, I dont know anyone here. Despite this pain I do think its best for me, a blessing in disguise, a chance to rewrite my story, take a new direction and take a path I never could have predicted. Life seemed to make so much sense and now its completely in disarray but im embracing it. Thank you so much for this video 🔥
Wow, you're amazing, this is your chance to show your strength! glad the video helped
Exactly everyone talks about loneliness as if it's a bad thing I like being lonley.
This is so important
Due to life events I had to move with my parents to a different city. It has been roughly 2 years. In school I was sorta social and it was easy for me to form friendships, and same thing in uni, but now I got a remote job and remote uni, so got barely any time and wish to go out in public.
I feel like being a lot more isolated than I used to caused me to go through a lot of introspection and a bit change. I felt very low at a certain point, around a half a year ago, but this caused me to alter my attitude towards certain things and work on myself. This made things better, but I still need to change more to become happier.
Regarding the strategic loneliness thing - I 100% get it, and it's kinda interesting how I just used to doing it without really realising it. The correct balance of alone and social time were probably my most happy and most "growing"(eng is not my native, so not sure what would be the best word here😅)
But rn I'm feeling like that balance has shifted from that "perfect" point.
Hear you, self-work is key! keep it up
