This is one of only 3 fractal dungeon's that I seriously worry about when forced to pug due to lack of friends an known ppl being online. Still have headache's remembering trying to get some new people to fractals to stay by Mai until she is vulnerable.lol. great in depth guide as always.

Have you tried getting a party member hold Horrik's aggro with some damage? While his fire shots are random afaik, his electric shots are aimed at whoever he's aggroing. So if you hold Mai Trin in place (either break bar or aggro as a player or bear pet) and have another person hold Horrik's aggro and stand behind Mai, you can land the electric shots on her easier.
"learn to spot the tells of each attack, only then can you claim your superiority over Mai Trin"
Or... you could just run a druid and viper necro then face tank everything... But that combo trivializes every other fractal as well.

do you avoid bringing a druid because of the glyph lightning fields that give retal when blasted? everytime I do lvl 100 mai this seems to be an issue

+Remaining Light That is intentional, as the rest of the guides will be published on thursday, friday, and saturday in the same rotation as the fractal dailies in-game, so as not to flood it all on you guys in one go :)
The fact she has no proper aggro mechanics makes her a pain in the butt. I hate doing her mainly because it can takes severals minutees to get her in a lightning field and its almost completely random.And you have to do it 4 times. -_-
+Noctaly As long as everyone in the party stays relatively close to her at all times it should be done in decent time. It's only when people get cold feet standing close to her that she ports and runs all over the place :P
Fair enough, but I really wish she had a proper aggro rule.
