Nice video. I have two questions: 1. is Eggishorn the best viewpoint for overlooking Aletsch Glacier ? 2. Any easy and safe hiking or walking route with beautiful views going to or starting from the viewpoint as I will bring along my parents who are about 68 years old (although they are healthy) ? thanks !
The best way to view the Aletsch Gletsjer is the eggishorn indeed! if you want to walk alongside the aletsch gletsjer then I advice walking from the cable car station at betmerhorn too fiescheralp via marjelensee and the tunnel. It takes around 4-6 hours (based on how fast you walk and how much you take pauses) we did this a few years ago and it’s super stunning. Especially between betmerhorn and marjelensee because you have consistently views on the gletsjer. It can be a bit busy in high high peak seasons but it doesn’t change the views you get. Also u don’t have to decent or accent a lot. Path is mostly good. Only 1 small part of around 100 meters u had to be careful cause big rocks on the path (at least that was when we were there, I am not sure about the situation now) I hope this helped you.
I also think it’s doable with ur parents. Mostly easy. We go to do that hike again in a few weeks. If you still wanna know I can let you know if the path is still easy.
J'y suis allée, c'est magnifique 👍👍

Hi, Is it allowed to fly drone near the glacier?
Sure you can fly your drone, just watch out the helicopters. The glacier is a big place.
Wrong music for this.
