    Thank you very informative. Incredible to think these glaciers are so close to towns and cities. Unforutnely we do not have anything like this in the UK.

    Wow, nature is wonderful and what a privilege to be on the ice with such an experienced guide as Killian. I read that the Swiss glaciers reduced by 6% just last year alone. Now the forest fire rages not so far away. Humans have a lot to answer for. Thanks for taking us on another amazing trip Sylvia and Killian 💚

    The same in Großglockner. Austria Gross Knokler glecher . I saw myself -😥Glacier
    In recent years (since 2005) the melting has gained momentum, if this continues, the glacier of the Großglockner will soon disappear. The researchers fear that most of the ice will have disappeared from the Alps before the end of this century if the climate in the region continues to warm at its current rate.

    It is wonderfulp how Killian speeks about his love for the "glacier", and that's not always with "pleasure" ... I mean : the under-titles are not always correct...

    • @SylviaMichelPhotography
      @SylviaMichelPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, subtitles are automatically generated and not always 100 percent perfect :)

    Beautiful views! At the same time, I'm sorry about the dying glacier. Nature is supposed to change every million years. I would say on the other hand that human beings must try their best and respect nature. Thank you for the exciting adventure, Sylvia and Killian. You've been a good, enjoyable guide, Killian! Take good care! ☕🍀

    It's going to be exciting to see what the archaeologists discover when the glacier melts.
    I've been hearing about clothing, tools and other artefacts revealing previous civilisations in a warmer periods.
    Before the next cold weather historical change.
    Just as we are going through warm weather change now .
    Very exciting.
    Historically food production increases when the world heats up.
    Changes are part of life. It just depends when we are born in history doesn't it?
