And the fact that a lot of tumblers are survivalists, many of them go on hikes everyday, multiple of them love making lists of edible plants. If the internet still exists in the apocalypse, tumbler might be the only social media with accurate information, because even if someone says something wrong you know someone’s coming out of the woodworks to correct them.

Fr, I'm making a post-apocalypse game where people slowly die of starvation inside random buildings they visit while scavenging, and I was planning to have every possible surface absolutely covered in grafitti. At first it was stuff like navigational arrows, and "no food here" notices, but gradually people began using them to try to find separated friends and family members, and leaving nice notes for them in case they ever found eachother's paths, and that turned into freeform poetry and stories and messages of emotional support, as well as your typical bs, and even elaborate works of art, some by a single artist, but many collaborative murals. Basically, they reinvented blogging on the walls.
Valve games are so incredibly crafted in every respect, often head and shoulders above games that came out over a decade later. From gameplay to details like this they give the whole package.
The graffiti on the walls of Roman cities proves that shitposting has always been a part of us. We shitposted before the internet; we will shitpost after it.

At first it was stuff like navigational arrows, and "no food here" notices, but gradually people began using them to try to find separated friends and family members, and leaving nice notes for them in case they ever found eachother's paths, and that turned into freeform poetry and stories and messages of emotional support, as well as your typical bs, and even elaborate works of art, some by a single artist, but many collaborative murals. Basically, they reinvented blogging on the walls.
