I agree with everything you said about the Filipinos. I was in Manila last Christmas and the people are really really friendly and the poorer they are the warmer their hearts are. Amazing country.

I've travelled a lot and once remember the Irish people being called the Filipinos of Europe. Irish myself. So last October went to Manila, to Naga, Tugawe Cove Resort, Nabua, legapzi, Mayon Volcano....
What a beautiful country, and the people are brillant, second to none. Happy, helpful and very welcoming...same I can say for my people. But the Philippines being a poorer country , makes them all more special...Thank you guys for one of the best holidays I ever had. My holiday led me to sponsoring a little boy in Nursery, private school and until he's finished he's training in many years to come. One thing that kept me on my toes was the TRAFFIC...they're crazy lol...need 10 pair of eyes to cross the roads. Get to cross roads, just close your eyes and drive...🤣 Nearly got a tricycle to get me across a pedestrian crossing in Naga city. Lol...by time I got across, it was nappy change time 😂😂 Going back again this year....can't wait....x

soda in the plastic with straw is very Filipino... and bread buns with Ice cream.. tried it. We Filipino live in simple life but we see to it we are always happy and enjoy . Imagine even Philippines is a poor country still we are one of the generous country/people on earth ...

Kamay- kamayan, or asking for soon for rice....so Pinoy.

Sachets yeah...I realized this when I went home a few years back.
You can buy most staples in sachet.
Shampoo, coffee, sandwich spread....I guess it is the industries trying to adopt to the buying capacity of the consumers....some are really still struggling...so small packaging helping making stuff affordable for most Filipino households.

filipino are one of best modern slave workers in the world, they are now in demand

Look into countries like the USA and Canada, and evaluate the contributions of Filipinos - engineers, doctors, nurses, home healthcare, artists, technicians, accountants as well as clerks and blue collar workers. If Filipinos all of a sudden choose to leave their adopted 2nd countries, those countries will be paralyzed for a long time, e.g. hospitals.

I'm trying to be honest here, don't worry, I'm on your side by telling the truth our country really treats you like a slave first all of you are underpaid compared to the local citizen and few privileges, we always made you work overtime even when your sick or not feeling well, we don't care about your health safety because we believe there is plenty more slaves like you that we can cherry pick around. Truth hurts, my dear, so let your government know it or else your race will be treated like this all the time..
sometimes I look at it as inhumane....

Yeah, slave for today but a master in the future cause we are awaken and when these internal problem in ours get solve you will try to mixed among my kind. Cause today our economy is beginning to rolls in its fast way someday third world country you thought could outshine you cause your kind isn't multiplying take a look of those white family there's only one child to bear in fact in terms of statistic childless couples are predominant. And a strong economy has a huge population take a look on china today it's undeniable.

Thank you for loving the Philippines, it's people and tradition.
We are family oriented, most overseas contract workers sacrifice just to give their families the best, sending kids to school and giving them their remittances to cover their needs, food, shelter and more.
Wherever Filipinos are, outside the country, the Filipinos treat each other like family, even adopting foreign coworkers as their own, welcoming them and sharing whatever food they have. Our women as well as men are nurturing, as most would work in the caring business as nurses, nurse assistants and such.
Education is valued as a legacy by their parent to their children.
And mostly , Filipino has an admirable work ethic. and mostly remain loyal to their employers, hard workers and creative.
Ofcourse there is still so much to bbn beimproved, we are not a perfect race. but in general.our belief in God , keeps us grounded and in times of crisis, we help as much as we can, even offering our last meal, to our visitor...even our own bed , ,
