Does the sensor cause a flashing handbrake light on the dash and a beeping sound mid drive?

That could be caused by a brake fluid level issue. I'd check that out as soon as possible

I have the Airbag warning sign. Not sure what to do?

There could be a few different components causing the warning sign. You'll probably need to have a mechanic plug in a diagnostic tool to find out which one is causing it.
