Operations maybe? the problem is, many junior/entry-level cloud jobs require you to at least have a good knowledge of one of the programming languages. while the specialized cloud jobs, require you to have more than 2-3 YOE.

I am probably one of the lucky ones to understand most of what youre saying, but if you want to grab those newbies to the cloud computing you should use plain language. For instance when you say "On-prem" someone that is still learning cloud concepts might not know what that means. Or when you say VPC, you should say or explain the acronym.

Hi GK,first of all thanks for these awesome videoes. Please continue with the same 👍 Actually i have some doubts related to cloud architect role ( whether i should go ahead with this one or not) . I am a principal application specialist.All our apps are cloud hosted. So i am pretty aware of the cloud architecture. Also business wise( handling customers,convince them,educate them about cloud apps, budgeting and design the solution for them etc) also its fine. But i never wrote a code. However i do understand ( debugging,fixing small issues) that. My question is do you think if i want to continue with cloud architect path, i should start learning any programming language to an extent where atleast i can write a full script ( may be for automation)? Or whatever i know about language now,thats enough for architect. Thanks again !
Yes Mr.Das you can continue as SA and these days SA are more customer facing roles too. They help customers by creating a solution architecture on cloud. Brush up your skills on system design and you should be good.

I wanted to know which of the three are better to learn from entry level job perspective as these days all jobs I am able to seek to require a huge amount of experience which I won't have from the start? My original background was in Biotechnology, then I did one project in Image Processing and thus was keen to build a carrier towards Data Science and Cloud computing, but getting inside any company finds a big hurdle for a starter. Hi Prasad, One option you have is to try as a cloud networking engineer and do network specialization certification. But I would suggest practicing Linux.

Hello, You could either take Cloud Developer or Cloud Architecture, if it is later then I would prepare for Solution architect certification on AWS, GCP or Azure (whatever your choice is) and prepare. You would understand what is expected from SA's role while preparing for the certification.

Thank you Sahil. Not really a great Pre-req's but you if you have understanding of infrastructure services, it would be helpful to learn cloud faster. How much - is a very relative term I took 2 months, coz I was preparing once in a while. Do a practice test and see where you are.

Yes you can either go with operations or cloud networking specialization. In any case it is recommended to learn Python

I wanted to know which of the three are better to learn from entry level job perspective as these days all jobs I am able to seek to require a huge amount of experience which I won't have from the start? My original background was in Biotechnology, then I did one project in Image Processing and thus was keen to build a carrier towards Data Science and Cloud computing, but getting inside any company finds a big hurdle for a starter. Hi Krishna if you have time, yes you can do both :). If not, you can just focus on ML certification directly if you are from Data Science background.

One option you have is to try as a cloud networking engineer and do network specialization certification. But I would suggest practicing Linux.

Hello, You could either take Cloud Developer or Cloud Architecture, if it is later then I would prepare for Solution architect certification on AWS, GCP or Azure (whatever your choice is) and prepare. You would understand what is expected from SA's role while preparing for the certification.

Thank you Sahil. Not really a great Pre-req's but you if you have understanding of infrastructure services, it would be helpful to learn cloud faster. How much - is a very relative term I took 2 months, coz I was preparing once in a while. Do a practice test and see where you are.
