People questioning Joanna's acting need to pay more attention to the intricacies of her talent. Her facial expressions alone tell an inner story, like I have seen somebody already mention. Her eyes are intoxicating, and she uses them to full effect every scene. There isn't an actress like her.
I loved this show, it's just a really "clean" series, its funny, romantic, mysterious - Looked forward to this show every Sunday, downloaded it and watched it Repeatedly.
Excellent portrayal of Denise character. Great acting. Her facial expression subtly delivered all aspects of Denise emotions & thoughts. There’s one scene about her being jealous as she appeared sulking. Quite delightful watching her performance indeed.
LOVE HER CHARACTER!!!! This show gave me a purpose to find in my own life! IT MADE ME SO HAPPY! So many things I can relate to in terms of feminism. I was DEEPLYYYY saddened by the cancellation because it's the first show I'd seen in a LONG time where sex violence and dark magic wasn't a theme. I'm so upset by this.
I love this show :-) Its the perfect blend of romance, comedy and drama. And the actors are amazing. Joanna Vanderham is such a natural beauty...it makes a nice change seeing beautiful girls who haven't got make up plastered on their faces.
I hope they renew the series! There was so much more story to tell - this whole new dynamic with Denise being her own boss with Moray just across the street. The new business of Denise and how she manages to grow in a world of men. How would their relationship work? And most of all - who are going to be the new antagonists and what would be the distress this time around.Pitty! This show is unique - light and clean.
Every minute of the show that doesnt have her is unendurable. She is so pretty. In fact I like all the girls,they are all very likeable. I fall in love 100 times a show. I can even understand Mr Jonas. After he told his story of meeting the former Mrs Moray, I felt an empathy for the old guy.Great series.
This show was beautiful in every way. From the actors to set design dialogue Aesthetically it was just beautiful to watch it was easy to watch the actors intermingle with each other Great show wish they would they would make more
I'm not sure what u mean by 'acting' - but check her subtle mimic and how the tiniest of muscles in her face and throat is tuned and suited to tell stories of her most inner life. I have never seen an actress like her!
LOL, is this the first televisionseries or movie you've ever watched ? It's a given in fiction that blonde or redheaded girls are not allowed to shed tears, be scared or have any of the emotions that are considered as weaknesses by some men. It's all about some kind of strange obsession wich is especially prevalent among men who work in the entertainment industry, so don't expect her character to behave like a normal person anytime soon.
I agree she was no match for the other main character,..(role of .Murray)..and he's is such an interesting character actor..I didnt see that quality with her...it lacks character
