For anyone that doesn't know, Jouseki are standardized sequences of move exchanges (that are usually fairly optimal for both players). It's similar to openings in chess, where you play specific sequences against each other to reach certain board states. I've mostly heard of it used when talking about Go or Shogi, but I guess it makes sense for Othello too.
