Very informative video. If it was me I would have fitted a new bulkhead, at your stage of strip-down it would be a no brainer, especially as you had previously removed the engine. All those small areas to make good will take a considerable amount of time. The extra cost of the bulkhead over individual part panels will make up for the extra expense. It's not too late to go down that route. If you sell it on, saying it's had a new bulkhead fitted will certainly make selling it easier over a similar aged truck.
Fitting a new galvanised bulkhead here. Designed by an cad engineer in process machinery for a local producer. But. Their quality control was so poor he is getting than built by a pukka plant manufacturer. Tough as nails and amazing quality. I have fitted genuine land rover bulkheads that are not as good! 1300 quid which by the time you ship from northern Ireland will be cheaper bought where you are. Just saying
Good vid. Check those wheels though, pretty sure freestyle alloys are not weight rated for a 110. Let's go laning when it's done, we can do a TD5 vs Tdci comparison 😊
@@onetonlandrover not to sure yet haven’t really looked properly haha 😂 it’s a module set. Bought them about a year ago so totally forgot I had them 🤦♂️
Hi mate I don’t do it but I know they normally charge £500-1000 depending on how far you go with the cleaning etc Also it ranges down to the products used

The whole bulk head is coming out for new parts
The flickering from the LED light is because of the Hz you are filming at. Change the Hz on your camera from either 50Hz to 60Hz or vice versa.
Thanks for the tip 👍 I’ve tried it in 30/60/120 fps
The only way I can get rid of it is by recording in a real low quality

Looks a decent build, Could be worth checking the oil pump gear whilst apart, common for coming loose 👍👍
Thanks Jason
Yeah she will be having a good strip down and making sure everything is spanking ready.
I will double check that 👍
Try changing the frame rate you record at , as that will quite often stop the flickering from the lights.
Looks like a nice project.

Yeah I have a nice set already ready for when it’s finished 😆

@@Jakesoverlandadventures What rims do you have bud? I tried to put a set of 203s on my 110 but couldn't balance them.

And wondering. What are your thoughts as to the nut job defender pricing versus their actual buildl quality...which to be fair..is pretty shit !?
Hi llandy I have a 2004 discovery 2 what would charge for restoration chassis and under body ..ball park figure
