      It was Dundee mate .
      I was in HMP Glenochil at the time with one of these killers .the descriptions they are giving looks nothing like them . they were in there 20s

      The Ford Transit was heavily favoured by armed robbers in the past because it was surprisingly fast and controllable.
      That said, the Securicor van would have probably had some kind of protection, which, in turn, would have had a weight penalty.
      However, it might also be the case that the engine was more powerful than a standard Transit.

    I'm in Dundee staying right now and thought I would check what happened here in past on crimewatch haha I googled union street and I was in a pub on that street today, going to go back tomorrow to see if this gows is still there

    Robert black was the preparator in the Susan Maxwell case along with few other young girls he would dump the bodies miles away from where he had took them dumping them in streams

      Was just about to comment about him, he was also a suspect in the abduction of a young girl, Jennifer Cardy, in Northern Ireland and was only days away from being charged with it when he died in prison.

    Robbery in Aberdeen never been solved. Definitely carried out by professionals with plenty experience, military perhaps.

      Actually, his ex wife who was the mother of his son was said to have taken her own life but I think there's suspicion around him with that one too. He and Lynda met because they were both having an affair and shortly after they married, Andrew was having yet another affair.

      ​​​@@09weenicNot true, Paul Mill served 13 years and Ryan Monks 14 years, the axe was never found, that was used to kill the gun shop owner, the event happened after the pair became fans of the Dirty Harry film, they needed the guns to carry out a hostage robbery and other various armed robberies. The person who called Crimewatch was a relative of of Monks ( Monks was his nephew ) that was how they got caught, the relative turned down the 12,000 pound reward money.

      Monks is out and lives in Dundee. Bought a house there in 2016.

    I remember this case a man abducted and killed children drove south where there bodys were found. He was found guilty of all 3 murders. He is one sick individual who picks on vulnerable schoolgirls.

    one man was tried and acquitted for the murder of Robert Higginson but walked free. Police now think a couple killed him after a wife swapping meeting
