The noise of the reverse "beeper" why do they all go "beep-beep-beep" when new then a week later maybe more they turn into that familiar rasping noise? - Water ingress causing corrosion? Haven't they improved on the design? Or is that rasping noise what's supposed to be? :)

For most trucks those blippers are compulsory, the dust, water or just the condensation ruins the membrane inside it causing the weakening of the sound, but some of those are built to make the rasping noise because a lower tone cause less noise pollution, used specifically for urban areas

They make stud brushes. Like what you use for a spark plug.

What I would normally do I will either put some grease on there or some gear oil on The studs and the surface were the wheel it’s up against a drum

For those particular studs is not allowed grease or oil, is also a mot failure, that's why clean, check, paint, I personally feel more confident seal old studs with paint

Hey buddy, do you have any videos on doing differential pinion seals?

For scanias, for release the central nut need heat it up with gas bottle, when red wit a 1700 Nm at list impact gun, (and a good socket) the nut can be undone without destroy the pinion thread. Then once changed the seal I think the torque of the new nut is above 1000 Nm. Would be an amazing video, but now i been long time without changing those.

Yeah buddy, I would never see a Volvo Scania Iveco MAN Mercedes Benz I was just curious to see how it’s done compared to how it’s done here in America to me, it seems like the European stuff is a little over engineered but in a bad way I worked on BMW and had to use
E-TORX sockets worked on Volkswagens where I had to use triple square I actually had a situation with a Volkswagen Passat The rear brake caliber well before me, somebody try to use the wrong whatever by time I got the car I figured it needed a 13 mm triple square so I was able to remove the top bolt but the bottom one was rounded out, so I had to disassemble The left rear suspension and had to take The bearing hub assembly to a welding shop to get that rounded bolt out I figured if they just would’ve used a 15 mm head or 16 mm head bolt would not have had that problem

@@terrellscaife2411 torx bolts are good for save weight and material, but like you said are not the best for work with

      Yep Yep
We need to stage a massive protest for manufacturers that use those type of fasteners on vehicles because 10 years 15 years, 20 years down the road, they are not the ones that have to try to get them off when they are rusty and stuck
