id say the closest things to humanoid before it came out were izotope vocalsynth and waves Ovox but even those are not really the same
51:05 after watching Skrillex talk about how the hook in that Justin Bieber song was just Justin's vocals majorly transformed, I can hear that trick in every song that uses it.

Hi, cool plugin. What would be the difference between waves OVOX tho?
They could be used in similar ways! I would say this plugin pushes further into transform voice towards synth. I also think Humanoid is a lot more user friendly in terms of interface.
A major difference is that OVOX can be used in real time while this plugin cannot.
