is there any way to automate the Transit big knob in audacity? audacity doesn't have BPM for the plugin to latch on to, so the best i could come up with was using a virtual audio cable to record myself turning the knob manually :(
Have you tried to use the foot midi controller with transit? You can make a fancy wah-wah pedal out of it :)
I bought it the day I saw your video on its release. What a great concept for a plugin.
That sound at 7:10 reminded me of the THX sound
How about a new 19th 'effect' called 'container' which allows you to select any of the existing VST plugins on your system and then map, say, up to 4 parameters to transit controls so you can automate literally any existing effect you have? Transit becomes *the* multi-effect chain on your system.
Mapping the macro to an expression pedal also helps Transit function as a guitar pedal while playing 😉
I love this plugin. I've been using Transit for swelling into commercial breaks on the TV series Shortland Street.

I'm using Transit for happy accidents. Some of the sounds I get by just randomizing while playing a loop is mindblowing. Totally approve this plugin!
Super versatile and useful plugin. I like having a bunch of different effects interacting with each other and all tied to a single fader so you can very gradually over time have things get weirder without having to automate all the effects individually; really useful for long evolving tension tracks in movie scoring, not just for shorter transitions

As somebody who watches a lot of videos about music and a lot of videos about urban planning, for a split second when I saw the notification for this video, I thought Andrew was gonna start talking about advocating for public transit. I was about to be like, "YEAH, PUBLIC TRANSIT, LETS GO!"
Regardless, still enjoyed the video. Awesome plugin.
Transit is actually really nice. It got me to make a transition with a bunch of effects for the first time in my production career ... so far I've only used it for that and just as a compressor. The workflow is just so fast though.
I’ve been using transit since it launched and it has sped up my workflow a ton and is now one of my go-to multifx plugins for sound design sessions. The randomization features are perfect.

Immediately bought this plugin when you released the fist video, saw the insane potential right away. I like the the envelope follower trick and combined with a beat repeat plugin is completely insane. I also like mapping it to the Expressive E Touché, so I can play with it rhythmically. I dont have an Osmose, but I can imagine the insane things you could make with mapping it to different expression options.
transit is so sick, I expect nothing less from andrew
Alright I’m sold, gonna buy this after work today. I love stuff where I can do really cool creative stuff with little effort because it allows me to make more better music, i think this is a great plugin for that

Transit unironically fucks. I rarely buy new plugins, gave this one a shot because I already trusted Baby Audio. It does not disappoint, and actually completely owns. TY Andrew and BA for this excellent arsenal addition.

Growing up listening to basically only classic rock until the mid 2000s, then only listening to metal, my only exposure to any kind of electronic music is through this channel. I've gotten into production because of the stuff I see here and Transit just makes things simple and allows me to explore genres that I never would have played before.
I use this plugin a loott and i love it so much. thank you creating it.

This is exactly why I picked up this plugin. I missed the 1.1 update in my inbox. I just so happened to have a duran duran cover project. I put pathways to funk on the bass track. Yeah that's perfect.

Transit is the best plugin next to Tantra 2 I have ever purchased In fact Transit and Tantra together make wonderful noises that would be processor intensive and time consuming if setting up seperate vst . So many new ideas coming with transit

I love Transit it's made my workflow so much faster! I have some really cool "bits" on my newest track, i slapped it on and found some happy accidents with it. 🎉
I loved it, that was exactly what i was looking for to build an improvisation based setup. Maybe a feature could be nice, having the possibility to delay de launch of transition. For exemple, I wait 4 bar before launching a 4 bar transition ! Great plugin, now I just need to figured how to load 30 transit and how to desactivate/reavtivate with no popping and so on.
Have you tried to use the foot midi controller with transit? You can make a fancy wah-wah pedal out of it :)

Thanks Andrew. Big Fan of Transit. Hoping it comes out on iOS to accommodate my workflow. Baby Audio has most their plugins available on iPad so it’s totally possible to make that happen. You should ask them if they can do it.

Its a great idea for a plugin..easily do able by just linking any parameters of any other plugin to an internal controm knob in your daw or on midi controller and twisting it. What's great is having it all on the same screen/gui at once, not 8

@andrewhuang I need this as eurorack module like a
1010 Music Bitbox Micro Black format, with a good DJ-Fader at the bottom on the module, plus IO/CV/Gate to map. The preset should be compatible, that would be top. You can use it in the DAW (vst) so to speak or in an instrument if you have the eurorack module. I would sign up as a voluntary tester.
Can you guys look in to releasing this for, maybe a light version, for your FLIP app?

im making ambient sound for a roblox game and I just mapped transit to some noise and I couldn't have been happier with the result. like it even make noise and rumbles sound cooler.

Hey andrew! Can you dumb it down a bit and show what settings you're automating (&how) and how to resample/commit it to the track? are you just messing with the "sequencer start" part? I need more instructions lol. thx! I'm on Ableton and noticed I can't use it on groups, is there a way to do that?
Can't you do the same thing in Snap Heap for example? Just linking a bunch of parameters to a macro and automating that

Is it possible, with the motion sequencer, to shift the effect and reposition the climax to, for example, on a 4 bars, a beat before the end of the 4/4 ?
It is easily possible on Ujam Boost, but I don't understand if it's possible with Transit.
So anyways time to figure out how to use this in posthardcore. BRB.

Hey Andrew. I got transit on Fl studio, love the plugin. But i can not make automations like i can do with other plugins. normally I right click on lets say reverb and choose to make an automation clip. But on Fl I cant. is that something that´s gonna get fixed or is there an other way to do it?

Use the up arrow icon to save a full preset or the 3-line menu on each module to save an individual module preset
