From my experience, it's not too hard to find a higher grade 1998 $2 coin, but a 1997 coin in that condition is rather uncommon. I suggest that you should keep it unless you found an even better one.🙂 On the other hand, that 1980 50 cent coin looks quite shiny too! Although they don't exactly worth much more than their face value, I'd be still happy whenever I managed to find one in that condition 👍🏼

Hong Kong coins shops are trash, they will try and buy at 10% of the market value.. But I have no doubt some have good experience.

Coins were minted under Vietnam, the coin material is very good... the designs are diverse and beautiful.
I have most vietnam coins, need a 20 xu 1946. The 1951 banknotes are very hard to get.
