Talking about the choice of car you would like to go for…… as I was reading your comment, it reminded me of myself when I bought my first M3. I changed my mind a few times as I was looking for a car but at the end I still went for the M3 😄. I thought about selling both my S classes and get the newer model w222 but I just can’t bring myself to selling this cars yet. They might be old now but I love this shape s class. They have so much road presence. Very good power and all the luxury you’d want on a car and much more. The E63AMG and the S63AMG W222 are both amazing cars but I don’t think you’d be disappointed with the w221 S class also. I hope you find the right car! All the best Sam
Exact same thought process I was going through down to the each car, but I couldnt find a low mileage e63 or s63/65 (w212/w221/w222) that wasn't ridiculously priced. I ended up buying a w222 s560 rwd. Found one that was too good to pass up with low mileage and fully loaded. Performance is still incredible and its more comfortable than the e63/s63s so take a look at those unless youre dead center on getting an amg.
I was shopping for a w211 e55 and found a w221 s65, never looked back lol, i still have an e350 and still will eventually grab an e55 but ill never sell my s65

Thank you! I would say the car is lowered around 30mm all around. The wheels are the same style as the newish C63AMG ( 2017 model ) and they are 21 inch. Tyre sizes are 255/35/21 front and 285/30/21 rears. It’s the recommended size from Mercedes themselves for the s class w221 model as the brabus model comes with 21 inches from factory and this is the size that it runs. Thanks again 😊
@@marveenpierre6084 Not really. The ride becomes a little bit harder but that’s about it. If you do go too low, it can damage the suspension or I should say it will shorten the suspensions life if it’s already worn out. It will fail sooner than when it had the standard height. On my S65AMG, one front shock absorber was slightly wet but as soon as I lowered the car, the shock failed shortly after but I knows that was going to happen. This is something to keep in mind that if something is worn but not excessively, the moment you lower the car, it will fail even sooner.

Thank you! Performance wise, the S63AMG is not far off as it’s the performance pack which means it has 571bhp and 900NM but there’s something special about the V12! It’s like a jet and the feeling it gives when you put your foot down, the S63 doesn’t have that same feeling. They might perform similar looking at the stats but on the road, the V12 is on a different level. Looks wise, I prefer the S63. Another thing I’ve noticed is that the gearbox on the S65 is also smoother. It’s more lazy and it doesn’t change gears as fast as the S63 but the 5 speed box suits the V12 engine very well. The 7 speed box on the S63 is definitely faster and better once the car is going.

Thank you! So far no oil leaks 😊. This engines do have their problems but from my experience, every car out there has at least one or two common problems. I try my best to look after my cars and hopefully the S63 will serve me well 😊

Hi. I haven’t had to repair any wheels yet 😊. I had 21’s on my S600 for 4 years and never had any problems. I have the original 20’s on my S65AMG and they are still good. To be honest, I haven’t used the S63 that much in the time I’ve owned it so that could be another reason
Hi, I’m not sure what they’re actually called as the car came with it’s original 20’s and the 21’s it has currently fitted but they used to be black with a chrome lip. This wheels come in black colour only but I’ve had them painted shadow chrome. To me this wheels look the same as the AMG wheels you get on a 2017 C63AMG S

I’ve also lowered the car but it’s never rubbed at the front even on full lock. You could see how the car looks with the spacers on my channel as I’ve posted a video of that car also. If you buy spacers just make sure they are hub centric ones

Was trying to find out the production number for this setup (white leather with piano black wood trims) but couldnt find it. I was able to find one in the US but that was it. Im assuming not more than 10 of them but wanted to ask if anyone knows about it

Hi. You could find the body kit online ( eBay ). Depends what country you’re from but there are sellers in Europe that sell the facelift AMG kit and there’s also sellers in the uk that sell this kit. If the car is left hand drive, you could also get facelift headlamps that are plug and play.
No, it’s a V8 BiTurbo and it’s only the facelift S63AMG ( 2011 to 2013 ) that has the V8 BiTurbo engines as the older model S63 ( 2006 to 2010 ) have the naturally aspirated 6.2 V8 engines. Only the S65AMG comes with the V12 BiTurbo. I own one of those too 😊. You can see my S65AMG in the channel. Cheers

You could find the body kit online ( eBay ). Depends what country you’re from but there are sellers in Europe that sell the facelift AMG kit and there’s also sellers in the uk that sell this kit.
If the car is left hand drive, you could also get facelift headlamps that are plug and play.

Is an S63 w221 not a V12? 🤔🤔🤔
No, it’s a V8 BiTurbo and it’s only the facelift S63AMG ( 2011 to 2013 ) that has the V8 BiTurbo engines as the older model S63 ( 2006 to 2010 ) have the naturally aspirated 6.2 V8 engines.
Only the S65AMG comes with the V12 BiTurbo. I own one of those too 😊. You can see my S65AMG in the channel.
