Sir, as you know, Chinese tt pistol has 8 rounds of magazine capacity, and I keep 7 rounds in its magazine all the year. How will its magazine spring be lost or damaged ? Plz reply
Have two, the Taurus TS9 was never meant to sold in the U.S. but do to overrun that changed at least temporary. I don't like the some of the slide parts like the striker are in a two piece plastic block and the breechface also a separate unit. What happens if the slide gets to hot? Plastic tends to warp and melt. Do like the overall built quality, it's better than the Taurus G Series. PNP in the Philippines supposedly shoot 20,000 through one without any issues? PNP did choose it as one their many duty weapons along with Glock, 17, CZ P-07 used by SAF troopers, IWI Jericho 941, IWI Masada, some PNP can use private firearms like the Armscor /Colt 1911pistol. Personally have a hard time believing that, The Taurus TS9 did so well in the 20,000 round test. It's a Taurus not a Beretta. I buy some firearms just to collect and some to shoot. Taurus TS 9 are ones I will put with the ones just to collect.
We're being told that Taurus Brazil is dumping its TS9 do to a faulty order contract and there will be NO USA support / upgrades for the US Taurus market.
OK, please expand. First, who is "WE" What is a Faulty Order Contract? And how is Taurus US and Taurus Brazil connected in a matter of service?? Taurus US has NEVER turned ANYONE away with service and warranty.
@@yrsued, TS9 was originally produced via Now defunct purchase contract . Despite the US market success of the TS9 there are very few aftermarket accessories
@@Juno_Beach Yes, but you never answered, who is we who wis being told? about Brazil Dumping it's TS9 due to a faulty Order Contract? And who told you that?
I think anything can be set up for optics, but it will cost you to make that happen. You will have to cut the slide. This pistol was designed a long time ago and issued back then, when Optics on Handguns wasn't a thing.
With the ridiculously low price, I bought one just for a fun curio range toy. Thank you for the head's up on the Sig sights. I was looking around for a set of higher viz sights for my old eyes and couldn't find what sights it took. 👍
BBtech BB6, a few years ago when Classic Firearms imported them .I got it because of it's designer, oddity and just fun to have. Also, I've been enjoying your videos for several years, always good!@@yrsued
No optics ready is a no go for me. So many people, including me, have age related vision problems.I can still use iron sights if i absolutely have too,(like if optic fails) but prefer not too. If they come out with optics ready slide, I'd love to have it.Currently I carry a IWI Masada full size, with a holosun 507c x2 green dot, but the stock sights don't co witness at all, because the f size Masada requires an adapter plate. If my optic fails, I'm SOL😂.I love my Masada, but am disappointed in IWI, simply because there is no aftermarket support for it, and IWI doesn't even have stock parts in stock, there's absolutely no excuse for this, being that the gun has been out for over 5 years. So basically it's like a throw away budget gun, once it breaks(if breaks) then you will not be able to fix it yourself. I kind of think the only way to fix it, would be to send it to IWI and wait forever to get it back. Anyways, I'm just looking for flatter shooting guns like this to play around with by polishing the internals, lightening the trigger, and running an optic.I just might buy this and have the slide cut so no plate needed for an optic, and the sights should co witness.
Like I said in the Video, this is an older pistol that was released years ago, but finally released in the US Market, I doubt they will release a TORO Slide, but you never know
@@yrsued You're probably right, but I'm sure it can easily be done. There's many companies around that do great work, like NC engravers in North Carolina.
@@yrsued A little fun fact, the Philippine National Police had a contract for 10,000 ts9's in 2019. Was the largest and only contract for them at the time.
Not bad looking, that safety would be neat option. I wouldn’t buy one, would rather have S&w or Glock, or something else, but I’m burnt out on striker fired pew pews, rather have da/sa, but glad to see more affordable options.

I don't know the quality of the springs, but I wouldn't be concerned with spring tension.

Needs that safety option. Taurus should look at making a striker fired da/sa with a decocker like the walther p99.
I don't know the story about the Safety, I will be asking at the SHOT Show.
Can it be set-up to accept optics? Are there aftermarket laser & lazer/light attachments?

Welcome to the getting old stuff, it SUCKS, my eyes are pretty bad too!!
Isn't that why they make full auto for? Old eyes?🤣
As a follow up, the Sig sights do not, in fact, work. The dovetails on the Sig are much smaller than the ones on the Taurus.
It’s a nice gun and for the price.
Yes it is, it performed well for me!!
I got mine, shoots great.
It is a good pistol, good shooter too.

Great review. Thank You.
Thanks for watching, I appreciate your comments. This is yet another very underrated pistol from Taurus.
Looks nice. Reminds me of the Walther PDP
I'm not super familiar with the PDP, but this pistol is REALLY nice, even though it's missing the Optics option
Love mine, great video!
It is a good pistol, too bad it took so long to get imported into the US
Wait so I didn’t see you activate the safety is it completely non-functional or did I miss something in the video?
It is 100% NON FUNCTIONAL!! that is why it wasn't actuated, I thought I said that on the Video.
Great video man ! Your videos are great

Well u probably will not see the TS9 with a optic cut
Being it a police / military overrun
This isn’t a range toy .. its a True Duty pistol…

Can the safety be fixed to work seen other reviews could not get it to engage either.
Honestly, I don't think so, I think this feature was disabled for the US Market!!
