    Cool! Thanks for the demo! I'm gearing up to build my first crystal chamber and this is very helpful.

    Will the crystal match the blade style and color if I’m using a proffie board and a neopixel blade?

    • @sethwinegar
      @sethwinegar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That all depends on the code put on the config file. Proffieboard is absolutely capable of doing that. If your interested in more Proffieboard information I’d look on the Facebook groups and follow Tom Tilmon’s channel Megatooth Sith he goes more in depth on answering questions like that.

    That's neat! I've been hand building chambers myself for a while now ^_^. Much better results I find, then some of the machined stuff

      Christian Gayle Thanks, I should probably offer something else more advanced. It was meant to give a basic idea to those beginners interested.

    Those that are watching this video I actually hold the led in with hot glue not super glue. My mistake. Hot glue makes it so you can pull the led out if needed. Super glue would be difficult, I wouldn't recommend it.

      Proptor FPV the threaded roads that are available at the TCSS store . I believe they are 3/16 inch.

    Thanks!!!

      It’s usually added. I build all mine from scratch. You might be able to find one if you look hard enough. Try Saberforge.

      @DutliAnvilhand 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      lorenza lewis if your a DIY guy I’ve been making them out of just cutting a clear glue stick into the shape I want, then you use watered down paint to color it and after the paint dries I seal it with clear fingernail polish. You can even add glow in the dark paint to make it look like it’s cooling down after your chassis light powers off. There are a few vids here on TH-cam about it.

    Here are a few parts of the saber:
    The emitter,
    The crystal,
    The lens,
    And the cap on the bottom.

    Nobody actually pronounces "LED" as "lead" as in "pencil lead." It's just "ell-ee-dee." The negative lead ("leed") is the cathode, not "cathoid". The disc is pronounced "chass-ee" not "chass-is"

      Yeah I learned that over the years, thanks. Your also not the first one to point that out in the 6 plus years this has been floating around. The true point of communication is for the listener to understand. I think you got the point without responding back.
