I've always been so intrigued by the Carnage/villains area in Superhero Island!!! It sounds like such a cool thing and I wish more footage and pictures of it were out there!! Great video!
The source footage of the press kit videos for these icons are always something I’ve been in pursuit of like the one of the opening scaremonies from Islands of Fear.
My first Halloween horn night was number 10, and I attended many more after But hands-down, without a shadow of doubt, the islands of fear was the best Halloween horror nights they had done Just Marvel Island itself was a spectacle to behold The haunted houses back then were more personal, more creative and didn’t feel as streamlined. It feels like now the idea is to get you through the house as fast as possible to make way for the nextguests.
My very first HHN was the first IoA one and Freaks and Foons still sticks in my mind with the streets filled with foam up to your knees in some areas! At the same time it certainly shows how much the scarezones have declined to what exists now.
kinda funny that Marvel was so against having their heroes be depicted as defeated in the Islands Under Siege scarezone, yet years later, we have them under Disney ownership trotting out a zombie Captain America for their own Halloween events.
'Halloween Is Grinch Night is ripe for expansion says Euchariah😂 A Seuss themed Booville and a Marvel zombies scare zones with special Food and drinks for each would have been lovely. 😢 Guess "Boo to you" really has a hold on the younger market even though I see people under 13 at HHN Orlando 🤣mode options would be 🔥
I know that you are hopeful that Universal might pull an Islands Of Fear on Epic Universe someday but considering how some of the lands are owned by companies that are overly protective of their IP, especially Nintendo who has a firmer grip even more so than Audrey Geisel. There’s also the fact that impossible to make something horrific out of an IP like How To Train Your Dragon, which is more family oriented than Jurassic Park. And yes there is Dark Universe, it doesn’t seem to be all HHN-oriented, just thrills so that even children won’t be scared of. My best guess is that Universal would just have Epic Universe host a family friendly alternative to HHN ala Mickey’s not so Scary Halloween, while still keeping HHN for the main park.
@@Ihartwalrusguy I can definitely see where you’re coming from, especially with Nintendo I could see that happening. However, with How to Train Your Dragon, I don’t think they would do something specifically with the IP for Halloween Horror Nights, but the themed land overall has good potential for something related to HHN. I think doing something like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for Epic would be a great idea.
It was! I wanted to cover it in this video; however, this video was already taking a lot of time, and I wanted to get it out, so I’m saving that for next year!

Great video!
Me too
Jurassic Park Extinction and Carnage were so amazing. Kinda wish they'd do more areas like that again.

The scare zones should’ve had themes from each island. I would’ve loved a scary Jurassic park scare zone
There was?
They did. Jurassic Parks theme was in line with the direction of the books- human dinosaur hybrids.

They also had that green laser wave effect above guests' heads.

How they didn’t make a house or scare zone in the lost continent area of the back based on hades is beyond me

Universal monsters should fit perfectly in horror nights
Great job!!
They will never be allowed to do anything scary with Nintendo World in Epic Universe
most we'll get is probably just the Boo ghost enemies lurking around, as well as Bowser.
I'd like a luigi's mansion night with some fun playful spooks
Wasn't HHN shared between IOA and Studios at HHN 14? I would love to see that covered.

Why didn’t they make a haunted house inspired by grinch night is Halloween night for Seuss Landing?
Question was this before Marvel Zombies became a thing?
It appears so, as Marvel Zombies came out in 2005.
Why do i feel like hhn was scarier back in the day
Dr. Oddfellow was HHN 32 in 2023. HHN 32 in 2022 was the Pumpkin Lord.
First‼️‼️
The time stamp rattles are so goony
