    NEWwater is so pure that minerals have to be added into the water before it is suitable for human consumption. Otherwise, it will leach the minerals from the bones of the person drinking it.

    • @dashingheights
      @dashingheights  หลายเดือนก่อน +16

      That’s what i’ve heard too! Also about how it’s an excellent water source for industrial use

    • @thulomanchay
      @thulomanchay 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      NeWater is too pure for drinking, its more for wafer fabrication to produce electrical or photonic circuits on semiconductors.
      The bottled ones are the one that has minerals added.
      In fact the recycled water is sometimes released into reservoirs so that they can be "naturalized".

    Hi to all tourists who are visiting SG and Singaporeans please don’t leave your valuables unattended. You may hear stories that Singapore is so safe but doesn’t mean crime is 0%. As a former National Service Police, these petty crimes happen all the time and Police have KPIs (solving and establishing subjects) to achieve, with not a lot of manpower . So please don’t give them unnecessary work for these lost items and they can focus on bigger crimes .

    I want to comment on the Chope system. The thing about the Chope system is that it isn't a law or a rule, but just a system, a system that relies on each other's trust and integrity. It wouldn't work if one chopes a place and another person blatantly ignores it and take the table anyways. People in Singapore respect each other, as well ae having trust and faith with one another. Truly a miracle.

    • @dashingheights
      @dashingheights  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Ya… somehow it works… yknow one time someone legitly LEFT his tissue pack on the table after finish eating. End up NOBODY use that table for the rest of the day 🤣

    Chopped was never practiced in Singapore up to the late eighties. I wonder who, when and why it started. Unbelievable.

      When Singapore started to restructure in to a service and financial hub, the number of office workers increased.
      And in places like Raffles Place, there are limited food outlets but office workers abundant.
      Therefore the chope evolved when office workers have their tray of food and all the tables and seats are occupied.

    Hm? You didn't manage to tour the NEWater facility? They had tours to show how the water was recycled, and it's pretty safe to drink. The reason why it's not sold is because we're not used to the taste of the water.

    Have to admit. Living here for 4 years now I rarely see a table that is choped… Mostly a person will stay seated without food at a table to hold it. So I’ve heard of choping but never seen it at least in busy food courts. The trash can thing, I think only Korea and Japan are places with no trash bins. Every other city I’ve seen in USA, aus etc trash cans are literally on every corner as well. As for corruption, well, journalists have no freedom in sg, look at reporters without borders…
