For active reading you need to point out with pencil and movement must be greater then normal speed. Where the things are boring or manipulated move faster and where important things mentioned move slowly .

I m talking about my academic reading -
Understanding -1 ---read the entire topic in one go quickly ( using no pointer at all ... No subtitles nothing just read it whether u understand or not)
After this u would feel u get it to some extent.
Now it's understanding-2 phase ----- read with a little less speed .
For the third time NOTE MAKING use pointer this tym , just read and mark the conclusive words lines ..👍
