Do you have litre's # you used for the back boxes of the 3160' - if you have the memory and remember it? Did you land on the lower value of kef recommended, in between, or the peak value? I remember looking, and they recommend two volume numbers, 30L and 60L. I Also, with the new dominus inwalls they came out with, I was looking at the pdf's they released with them, and looks like they are recommending "fiberglass insulation" inside wall cavity volume. How would this work, if you fill up the lets say 60L of volume with fiberglass, is it still going to work? I thought backboxes are supposed to be empty with air. Any thoughts on this?
I have a video on this actually that I filmed and never edited so Ill do that and upload it. I cant recall but maybe i mentioned it in the video. I want to say I did the minimum recommend internal volume. YES the speaker would still work just fine with it filled with fiberglass. It would just change the performance of the speaker/frequencies response. If you have REW you could measure with and without internal batting in the enclosure
Brilliant going to look and sound amazing 👍🏻
Thanks
